The entrepreneurial journey is usually filled with many twists and turns and the path for Jim McCarthy was no different. There are not many people that can say they were not only there when the internet was being developed into how we interact with it today but to have had a hand in that development, which may come to no surprise, was being curated during the early stages of Amazon.
Jim illustrates that entrepreneurial thinking is what makes the difference in seeing an opportunity that can be executed uniquely in order to be more effective or to create a new idea that will solve a problem more effectively. The question then becomes, how do we begin to cultivate innovative thinking as a skill that can be taught within an educational institute in order to yield a workforce that has the potential to change our future?
