Over the weekend, Britain’s biggest music festival Glastonbury was held on a farm in south-west England. This year’s edition made more headlines than usual due to a pair of acts: Irish rap group Kneecap, and English punk pair Bob Vylan. Several months ago, a U.S. woman named Adriana Smith had a medical emergency and ended up in hospital. Doctors found blood clots on her brain, and she was declared brain dead. Her story didn’t end there, however, because Adriana was around eight or nine weeks pregnant and lived in the state of Georgia. Over the past week, you might have seen some commentary around sunscreens online.This is all because of some research consumer advocacy group Choice did, where it did testing on 20 different sunscreens to check if their claimed SPF matches their actual SPF.The results indicated that many sunscreens allegedly don’t deliver on their SPF rating.But are those results accurate? If you’ve been listening to The Daily Aus for a while, you’ll know we’ve been waiting quite some time to get the leader of the Liberal Party to do an interview with us. More than one in three men report using intimate partner violence – any behaviour in an intimate relationship that causes physical, sexual or psychological harm – according to a Government-backed study into men's mental health and wellbeing, paternal relationships, demographics, social support, and life satisfaction. Bianca Stern is the General Manager and a founding member of All Things Equal — a Melbourne-based social enterprise empowering people with disability through award-wage employment, purposeful training, and pathways to rewarding careers in hospitality. The organisation recently put out an Equal Opportunity White Paper, which it calls a ‘Blueprint for Disability Employment in Hospitality.’ The report is a call to action for the hospitality sector, which it says is at a turning point.
