On Episode 374: The Four Greys, Ryan joins The Confessionals to share his harrowing account of his years-long nighttime encounters with four grey creatures. At age 19, Ryan moved in with his older brother. One night while they had company over, Ryan suddenly felt overwhelmed and went to sleep in his room. When he awoke, he found himself held down with a large hand pressed against his back, and witnessed the shadows of four tall slender creatures on the wall. When Ryan heard the creatures begin to “talk,” he blacked out. His experience could almost have been a horrible dream except that when Ryan finally came running from his room, his brother’s immediate reaction revealed just how real the encounter was. For years afterward, Ryan continued to be visited by the grey shadowy beings, until one night when he did not only feel hands and see shadows but finally saw one of the creatures in the flesh.Become a member for weekly BONUS episodes and AD FREE listening: theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinMAILING ADDRESS:STE 36188 Glocker Way,Pottstown, PA 19465SPONSORSGET Cerebral: getcerebral.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: simplisafe.com/confessionalsGET Hello Fresh: hellofresh.com/confessionals14 Promo Code: "confessionals14" for 14 FREE MEALS!!!GET ACORN.TV: acorn.tv/ Promo Code: "tony" (Code must be applied in all lowercase letters!)Get Emergency Food Supplies: www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIASubscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaIDiscord: https://discord.gg/KDn4D2uw7h Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's Instagram: merkificationFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

Sometimes guests join the show who have heard a previous guest share an experience that they related to so much they contact us to share their story as well. Colleen's mother later bought a Ouija board that kicked off the paranormal activity in her life. Episode 363: The Shadows Of Suicide might be one of the most important episodes I will ever put out as a podcaster. Veteran suicide is something that plagues our soldiers, and Episode 363’s guest Jake is a testament to that. Jake was a soldier who was injured in the line of duty. Once he returned home, he couldn’t find any work because no one wanted to hire him with his disability. Jake entered a dark hole of depression, but in the moment of him holding a gun, ready to take his life, something happened that would pull him through the darkest moment of his life.I recorded this interview with Jake a few weeks ago, and after we were done I told him that I felt like this conversation needed to be released ASAP because I thought it could help a lot of people persevere through suicidal thoughts. My month of August episodes had already been planned, so I added this interview to be released today. Last week, I got a direct message on Instagram from an ex-wife of a listener named Greg. He and I connected a few months back about interviewing to share his experiences, and we scheduled him for December 24th, 2021. But, sadly, Greg’s ex-wife informed me that Greg had taken his life the week before last. Greg lost his battle with the darkness that plagued him, and I am left wondering if I would have released the interview sooner, would it have made a difference in Greg’s life? Please, I truly beg you, if you are fighting thoughts of suicide, seek out the help you need. Today does not need to be the final chapter of your life’s book. Time moves forward and so can you! With every day that goes by, you are one day closer to finding that hope that you have been searching for that could give your life the meaning every person needs. If you woke up today and suicide was something on the table of consideration for you, I am here to tell you that today is not your day. It’s not your predetermined fate, it’s not your destiny. Hope and meaning can be right around the corner for you if you just hold out. Let that be your hope if you have no other. Find hope in finding the hope to carry on. We love you here at The Confessionals. Lindsay, myself, and all the listeners. I thought it would be fun to put out a mid-week show where Joel from VanTesla and I talk about the recently released single, "Bigfoot" and how that song came together. While I had Joel on with me we dove into some discussion on the infamous member's episode, "Discovering MK-ULTRA" where I found myself in the awkward position of having to inform "Cat" that she may have been part of the MK-ULTRA program. After that release Cat and I kept in contact as she was connecting dots and finding new pieces to her life's puzzle. We decided to bring Cat back on for a second interview for this coming Thursday's member show and things got weird during our recording. It seemed as though someone was trying to cut Cat off from speaking about a certain thing. She talked about a bunch of things that one could consider heavy topics but none of them seemed to get the interference that we got until we started talking about the "school" she had to go to as a child.SPONSORSGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGET Hello Fresh: https://hellofresh.com/confessionals14 Promo Code: "confessionals14" for 14 FREE MEALS!!!GET ACORN.TV: https://acorn.tv/ Promo Code: "tony" (Code must be applied in all lowercase letters!)Get Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIASubscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaIDiscord: https://discord.gg/KDn4D2uw7h Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's Instagram: merkificationFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

During her visit, her mother called her back home because something strange was happening. When she arrived, she was faced with something that needed an investigation outside. In Episode 352: The Return Of Charlie we have the return of Charlie! Episode 122: Secret Military Enochian Technology was The Confessionals number one episode of all time. Charlie told us about his mind-bending experience while serving in the U.S. military and when that episode aired, Charlie was paid a visit. It started with a knock on his door one night with federal officers requesting his presence in a sit-down. After getting a lawyer Charlie had that meeting and then tells us about how someone seems to have been planted into his life since then. But we first start out our conversation with Charlie sharing some experiences he had as a child that might have contributed to his experiences as an adult. In Episode 351: Secret Military Enochian Technology | Reloaded, we revisit Episode 122: Secret Military Enochian Technology with Charlie! When we originally released this show in April 2019, it quickly became our number one show of all time. The episode became so popular that we even had some people listening who we may not necessarily have wanted to listen... After the broadcast aired, Charlie received a visit in the country he lives in currently under suspicious circumstances and approached me about sharing what occurred. However, he did not want to put himself on the radar again, so he asked that his second interview be shared only with members to give him some level of security as he discloses his updated story. Charlie’s second interview will be airing this Thursday on Episode 352, as a members-only exclusive. That being said, we are re-airing Episode 122 today, because since 2019 The Confessionals has grown considerably and produced many more episodes, so there may be a number of listeners who have not yet experienced the story of Charlie’s epic adventure uncovering secret military technology and the strange things that happened to him as he returned to his ship!SPONSORSGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGET Hello Fresh: https://hellofresh.com/confessionals14 Promo Code: "confessionals14" for 14 FREE MEALS!!!Get Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIASubscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaIDiscord: https://discord.gg/KDn4D2uw7h Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's Instagram: merkificationFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

In Episode 347: Animal Mutilations, we talk with Mark and then Amber about the bizarre experiences they've each had. After his grandfather passed away, Mark moved into his grandfather's house as a young boy, where a lot of weird things happened to him. What scared him the most was a night as a teenager, when he woke up to see the imprints of hands making their way across his bed! Following Mark’s stories, Amber tells us about strange animal mutilations occurring in her area. She also describes how something once coaxed her up a mountainside, moving further and further up the mountain the closer she tried to get to it. Later on, Amber was called back to the same area as part of a search-and-rescue team for a man who was discovered frozen to death; upon witnessing the scene, she was left wondering if whatever thing had been drawing her up the mountainside was responsible for that man’s death.SPONSORSGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGET StoryWorth: https://storyworth.com/confessionalsGET Hello Fresh: https://hellofresh.com/12tony Promo Code: "12tony" for 12 FREE MEALS!!!Get Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIASubscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaIDiscord: https://discord.gg/KDn4D2uw7h Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's Instagram: merkificationFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

In Episode 335: Dog vs Dogman, we are joined by Kyle who shares the most dramatic dogman experience ever sent to The Confessionals! Kyle was born and raised in Kentucky, and became a coon hunter at a very young age. When he was 15 years old, he and his grandfather set out for a night of hunting raccoons with their dogs Bow and Jake. Little did Kyle know that on this night, his life was going to change forever. The dogs treed a coon when a pack of coyotes moved in to challenge the hunting dogs. There was a strong battle of dominance, and when Kyle finally arrived at the scene he saw Jake standing strong with coyotes on the run. He then heard what he thought was his dog Bow on the other side of a large tree, chomping on a coyote. But, when he circled around to find Bow, he came face to face with a monstrous beast that towered over him. This is where Kyle's life changed forever, as a bloodthirsty dogman took chase after him, and a battle of dog versus dogman took place! Kyle's story of survival truly defied the odds with those two kinds of dogs in the woods that night - one was man's best friend, the other was man's worst nightmare. In Episode 333: Ghost Of The USS Forrestal, we are joined in the studio by Tony’s Uncle Mark as he discusses being stationed aboard the haunted USS Forrestal while serving in the Navy. The USS Forrestal experienced a tragedy in the 1960s when a missile was mistakenly launched onboard, resulting in many fires that claimed the lives of over 160 men. One of the men who escaped death that day, only to be captured as a POW a few weeks later, was none other than former senator John McCain. Needless to say, this aircraft carrier has sailed with tragic baggage throughout its history. As time passed, rumors circulated of apparitions of past sailors appearing on the ship; one was even seen so often that the crew named him George. Mark shares some ghost stories with us and describes what life out at sea was like for all those years. We discuss why he believes he never witnessed a UFO despite his many years at sea, and he also tells us about living with his family in a haunted house in Massachusetts, where a former owner died and odd things occurred. As a journalist in the Navy with over 20 years of service, Mark decided to pursue novel writing once he retired. He is now the established author of a book trilogy called the “Forever Avalon” series. Combining experiences from his Navy service with his love for sci-fi, he created a fantasy world that begins when a storm slams into a ship and pushes the characters onto an uncharted island – but not just any island. The family finds themselves in another world frozen in time, on the magical island of Avalon, a place of eternal magic where the descendants of King Arthur rule. And this is just where the “Forever Avalon” series begins! In Episode 331: The Devil's In The Music, we are joined by Joel who is one half of the new music group called VanTesla. VanTesla flew into Philadelphia to record multiple shows in the studio with me, both for The Confessionals and for my radio show Rage Against Dystopia, which will broadcast on Tuesday (4/20/21) at 8pm EST only on Fringe.FM.Joel and I sat down to talk about the paranormal experiences he has been through in his life. He begins by sharing how his father almost got sucked into a Satanic cult while he was in college, and how those experiences changed his life's trajectory to become a pastor. Though he grew up with his dad warning him of the dangers that lay in the darkness, Joel decided to take his own path. He dated a woman who practiced the dark arts, and the baggage she carried spilled into their relationship to the point that she became demonically possessed, as a demon took control of her body to speak to Joel. Joel became more deeply involved in music, which lead him to become a Free Mason in an attempt to gain power and fortune. He shares his experiences as a Free Mason in the "Overtime" segment of Episode 331, available for members on the member site, as well as his bizarre UFO encounter that caused me to wonder if he had seen several ships returning to a mother ship with abductees. In Episode 327: Legion, we are joined by Caden, who shares stories from his childhood in his family home. Caden reveals some rather scary experiences that he believes were demonic in nature. When he went off to college, he became involved in a campus ministry, where he experienced things that changed his life and left him with no doubts that the spiritual realm is very real. He recounts the story of a demonically possessed girl who, during an exorcism, exhibited supernatural strength and revealed the names of the demons that were possessing her.BECOME A MEMBER AND GET ADDITIONAL SHOWS: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinSPONSORS:GET FEALS: https://feals.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGet Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH US:Website: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819 Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIA:Subscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaI Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's NEW Instagram: rage_against_dystopiaMeWe: https://mewe.com/i/tonymerkel5Gab.com: https://gab.com/TonyMerkelFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO: Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

In Episode 326: Deprogramming SRA Victims, we are back with Brian from Episode 325 for our third and final segment. We originally contacted Brian about his experiences helping SRA victims, but our discussions in our first two recordings diverged into the reptilian stories he had to share. Now we are finally diving into Brian’s experiences helping a young woman recall her memories of her satanic ritual abuse and those who abused her. From family members and pastors to university presidents and even governmental figures, Brian and his partner aided this woman in facing her abusers and working through the process of understanding what happened to her.BECOME A MEMBER AND GET ADDITIONAL SHOWS: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinSPONSORS:GET FEALS: https://feals.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGet Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH US:Website: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819 Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIA:Subscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaI Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's NEW Instagram: rage_against_dystopiaMeWe: https://mewe.com/i/tonymerkel5Gab.com: https://gab.com/TonyMerkelFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO: Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

Episode 325: The Underground Reptilians is a two-part show, with Part Two available as an Overtime segment on the website for members! On this episode, we speak with Brian, who describes growing up near a place in Michigan where reptilians lived underground with other creatures! Brian and I first connected when he left a comment on theconfessionalspodcast.com about his experiences helping to de-program SRA (Satanic Ritually Abused) people. I was interested in bringing him on the show to pick his brain about the process of de-programming in SRA cases, but as we communicated he asked me if I would like to hear about his reptilian stories - of course, I said, "Yes!" As children, Brian and his brother would play with other kids around an area called Witch's Hollow. One day, Brian's brother stumbled upon an opening in the ground that had a dismembered head in the entrance! After contemplating what he saw, his brother decided to return to the location to get another look, and when he did he was met by a reptilian who was manning the entrance. That was the first of many ongoing interactions he had with these creatures, and Brian shares the encounters with us!BECOME A MEMBER AND GET ADDITIONAL SHOWS: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinSPONSORS:GET FEALS: https://feals.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGet Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH US:Website: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819 Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIA:Subscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaI Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's NEW Instagram: rage_against_dystopiaMeWe: https://mewe.com/i/tonymerkel5Gab.com: https://gab.com/TonyMerkelFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO: Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

On Episode 323: Something's Coming In the Future, we talk with Lindsey about her vast experiences with another realm. Lindsey begins by sharing how she has had very similar experiences to Melissa from Episode 175: It Dragged Me Down The Hall. Both Lindsey and Melissa experienced hearing a sound like a windmill spinning before the activity around them kicked up a notch. Lindsey also tells us about her communication, on multiple occasions, with what seem to be alien greys, who said things to her like "we are here, we exist and we just wanted you to know that.” They also revealed to her that something would be coming in the future that would require her to know how to grow plants underground. Lindsey feels like there could be a simulation component to all these experiences, in which she may be encountering these beings when she leaves some kind of matrix.175: It Dragged Me Down The Hall: https://bit.ly/2Qx3SwrBECOME A MEMBER AND GET ADDITIONAL SHOWS: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinSPONSORS:GET FEALS: https://feals.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGet Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH US:Website: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819 Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIA:Subscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaI Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's NEW Instagram: rage_against_dystopiaMeWe: https://mewe.com/i/tonymerkel5Gab.com: https://gab.com/TonyMerkelFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO: Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

In Episode 311: The Mysterious Egress Industries, we are joined by Kyle and Steve from The Holosky Podcast. A couple of months ago I was contacted by a mutual listener, informing me about some of the crazy things that were happening on their show. Boy, they were not kidding! It all started when Steve was doing some research on Reddit for one of their upcoming shows, and stumbled across "dream flyers" that asked peculiar questions and advertised a phone number for "Egress Industries." Steve thought it could be an interesting idea for the show, and bought a burner phone to conduct their experiment. Steve and Kyle used it to contact the number on the flyer, and that’s when things began to progress out of hand! They were connected to a guy named Bob who was also experiencing bizarre happenings involving the Egress Industries’ phone number. When the three started talking, Egress immediately knew about it, and began texting their phones and the phones of some of their acquaintances - numbers they never should have had access to! Egress even started to text Kyle's co-worker, and may have possibly made an in-person visit to Kyle's wife. As the story unfolds, it became clear that just by the simple fact that Kyle and Steve were speaking with me about them, I may now be on the radar of the mysterious Egress Industries!BECOME A MEMBER AND GET ADDITIONAL SHOWS: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinSPONSORS:GET FEALS: https://feals.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGet Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH US:Website: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819 Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIA:Subscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaI Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's NEW Instagram: rage_against_dystopiaMeWe: https://mewe.com/i/tonymerkel5Gab.com: https://gab.com/TonyMerkelFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO: Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3SHOW ART: Garrett Hoover (IG: @garrett.hoover.395)AUDIO TRAILER: Dalton Boyd

In Episode 309: The Predator, we talk JR, a former member of a "1%" motorcycle club. After doing something to get himself kicked out of the club, JR started his own burglary gang. Between the club and the gang, he was in deep trouble with the law and found himself on the run, hiding out on a very remote property in southeast Indiana. Although he was given permission to stay on the property, JR was also warned that something was roaming the land... Not paying much mind to that warning, he spent nine months at the location, spending his time looking for old artifacts he could sell for cash. As time went on, JR not only found artifacts, but discovered huge finger bones and oddly placed mounds. And that's where he wishes his discoveries had ended: while out searching, JR also came across a translucent creature he can only describe as "The Predator." During his final encounter with it, he was left so terrified that he decided to head back home, where he was facing prison time, than stay one more day in the forest with The Predator!BECOME A MEMBER AND GET ADDITIONAL SHOWS: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinSPONSORS:GET FEALS: https://feals.com/tonyGET SIMPLISAFE TODAY: https://simplisafe.com/confessionalsGet Emergency Food Supplies: http://www.preparewiththeconfessionals.comGet Beard Oil: https://bit.ly/2FbOhN5CONNECT WITH US:Website: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: [email protected] Community: Text "YUP" to 844-215-0819 Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/the-newsletter SOCIAL MEDIA:Subscribe to our YouTube: https://bit.ly/2TlREaI Show Instagram: theconfessionalspodcastTony's NEW Instagram: rage_against_dystopiaMeWe: https://mewe.com/i/tonymerkel5Gab.com: https://gab.com/TonyMerkelFacebook: www.facebook.com/TheConfessionalsPodcast Twitter: @TConfessionals Tony's Twitter: @tony_merkelSHOW INTRO: Show Intro INSTRUMENTAL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyub39AXxUw Show Intro FREE DOWNLOAD: https://bit.ly/2HxNcw3

Did Pat Garrett kill Billy the Kid?It was a moonlit night in Ft. Sumner, NM when history tells us that Sheriff Pat Garrett shot down the notorious outlaw Billy “the Kid”. Newspapers across the country quickly reported that the Kid was dead and Garrett quickly put the body in the ground. But rumors spread that the Kid had survived and the testimony of Garrett’s posse was contradictory about how, exactly, the shooting had gone down. Nevertheless, without evidence, the story of the heroic Sheriff stood for almost 70 years. Then, in 1950, an old man from Hico, TX petitioned the governor of New Mexico for a pardon for crimes he committed as Billy the Kid. No one took him seriously, and yet the old man was an exact match in physical characteristics and knew intimate details about the Kid’s life. He also knew details about the fateful shooting the night Garrett claimed to have shot him that had been erased by history. Details, for example, that Garrett had killed his very drunk bearded half-Mexican partner, a claim that has only recently been verified by modern research. It has been said that the living write history and not the dead, but when one returns from the dead, so to speak, that which was lost to history is restored. This is the true story of Billy the Kid, complete with new evidence that he lived to a ripe old age and died a free man.THE STORYIn 1882 the notorious outlaw Jesse Evans, a childhood friend of Billy the Kid and a participant in the Lincoln County War, walked out of jail after serving a sentence for killing a Texas ranger. Jesse walked out of prison a free man and disappeared, never to be heard from again. Never, that is, until 1949 when Jesse came out of hiding after almost 60 years to claim an inheritance left to him by his brother. In the course of proving his identity to a court, Jesse told some amazing stories of his time when he was an outlaw but his biggest revelation of all was that his good friend Billy the Kid was still alive. Jesse led a young lawyer named William Morrison to an old man named not William H. Bonney but William H. Roberts who after some consideration finally agreed to come forward and reveal himself as Billy the Kid. He agreed to this on one condition- that the lawyer helps him obtain the pardon he was promised by the Governor but never received so he could die a free man. You see, Billy the Kid was still wanted for murder and was condemned to hang. To reveal himself was to risk arrest and death. This was a risk that William H. Roberts was willing to take. He sat down with Mr. Morrison and told his story. This book contains that story. It is the one true autobiography of Billy the Kid. A story that aside from some definite highlights and adventures that one would expect from the Kid, was remarkable normal and focused on his skill breaking horses as much or as more as his skill as a gunslinger. Billy the Kid was, in fact, just a gifted young cowhand who found himself juxtaposed against corrupt officials and lawmen at what became a key moment in American History. Before one dismisses Mr. Roberts it should be considered that 5 living acquaintances of Billy the Kid, aside from Mr. Evans who revealed him, were willing to sign legal affidavits that Mr. Roberts was the man they knew as Billy the Kid. Further, the new photographic comparison shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were the same man. Mr. Roberts' story became the inspiration for the opening scene in the hit movie "Young Guns II" starring Emilio Estevez as Billy the Kid. Also, Consider that Pat Garrett was denied his reward for killing the kid for many months and that only a special act of the legislature allowed him to finally receive it. All of this and more is contained in this book.
