I mean, does he need an introduction? One of the most famous sportsmen to walk to globe joins us for Golf Week here on the podcast. One of the greatest Buckeyes in the history of the athletics department. The Golden Bear. Jack Nicklaus. We did this last year when he stopped in town for The Memorial Legends Luncheon, and he was kind enough to talk Ohio State with us once again. He talks about memories of campus and being back in town, to playing golf at Ohio State and what that meant, and of course some Buckeye football. Golf week continues on The Buckeye Show podcast feed as I am joined by Lisa Strom (women's coach) and Jay Moseley (men's coach) of the Ohio State golf program. I've got so many friends who are great Fan personalities in the building and I rarely get to do shows with them. One of those guys is my good friend Eric Rieser. And when he was first starting here at the station he did a lot of shows with us on The Buckeye Show before settling nicely into his role with Bishop & Friends. So we reminisce about meeting in the middle of a pandemic and doing the show that way before talking extensively about our mutual friend Tyvis Powell and his new opportunity. Happy Monday everyone. The Ohio State football team had a pretty busy weekend with Student Appreciation Day on Saturday and the continuation of spring football practice but it was also mega busy on the recruiting trail. So we say hello to 2024 RB James Peoples out of San Antonio. We'll go over all the particulars and why I have an especially good feeling about this one. I also update you on my sad and pathetic battle with old age. I can't even jog on a treadmill without my hip feeling like it's going to fall off. But I've got some advice for you if you're about to venture into you're upper 30s and aren't finding time for the gym. Enjoy this one friends!
