<p>This weekend we begin a new series for the new year.</p><p>The word “flourish” in the Scriptures means to “bud, sprout, bloom,</p><p>to break forth, to break out, to spring up, to grow healthy...</p><p>vigorous.” You could consider “Flourish” to be our word of the year.</p>

<p>This weekend, we're taking a different approach and simply giving you a live glimpse of the message from our Christmas Candlelight Service. We pray it is a blessing to you and that you have a very merry Christmas!</p>

<p>This weekend, we explore another way Jesus has made history and continues to make history!</p>

<p>Take out a current picture of your child or grandchild for the prayer time this weekend as we’ll consider how Jesus has made history for children. You’ll appreciate the impact of His teaching about kids in the Gospels when you hear a little more about the world in which Jesus spoke it. And history tells the story of what a difference Jesus made for kids, and still does today.</p>

<p>This weekend we hear the story of how Jesus altered the way humanity has responded to sickness and disease.</p>

<p>The coming of Jesus made history. And still makes history. This weekend we begin a new series as we celebrate and dig into the impact Jesus has made.</p>

<p>Following last week’s State of The Branch message, we are picking up where we left off in the letter of 2 Timothy. Paul is addressing Timothy, who is serving the church in Ephesus during a time of rapid change both around and within the church. </p>

<p>In what Chris calls his “State of The Branch” message, he shares some updates on where we are as a church and where we’re going.</p>

<p>This weekend, Chris invites his wife, Tara, to share a story as he unpacks the topic of leadership and the meaning of Hebrews 13:7-8.</p>

<p>This weekend, our VOX DEI series concludes with a look at what it means to follow God’s voice, and Chris brings a prop!</p>

<p>Chris is continuing his VOX DEI series with a message on what we can expect when it comes to hearing the voice of the Lord. We hope this will both strengthen our discernment of His voice and increase our hunger to listen for Him and to Him!</p>

<p>This weekend, we explore what it looks like to trust Jesus in the midst of a storm.</p>

<p>Tim began our time with a personal reflection on what is next for him, and answers some questions about his transition. Then Hunter brought a sermon with some insights on his vision for making disciples at The Branch.</p>

<p>This week, we learn how the voice of the Lord helps us to identify any lies we might be operating under in our hearts, and pull us out of isolation and into community with others.</p>

<p>There are multiple voices speaking into our lives. This weekend, we explore more on the subject of discerning the Lord among all the other voices.</p>

<p>When it comes to seeking to hear from God and getting nothing but silence on the other end, what then? We’re talking about that this weekend as our Vox Dei series continues.</p>

<p>Why do we have trouble hearing and discerning the voice of God? This weekend, we’ll look at things we can do to help our hearing and cut down on the interference.</p>

<p>This weekend, we explore the dynamics of God leading through impressions upon our hearts and minds, as well as the experience of hearing His voice in our hearts and minds. Are those things in Scripture? They are, indeed.</p>

<p>There’s no shortage of stories in Scripture of God speaking to people through dreams and visions. This weekend we’ll consider this variable of dreams/visions, hear a few testimonies, and talk about matters of discernment.</p>

<p>Another testimony sets the stage for us to explore the variety of ways the Lord speaks, and to see those confirmed in Scripture.</p>

<p>We get to hear two testimonies this week in our series on hearing God. Chris also shares 5 incentives we have for seeking to hear God’s voice today.</p>
