<p>Jesus is not looking for a promotion. He’s already been appointed Lord of all. But He is looking for our trust. It’s difficult to live out His supremacy over all things if we doubt His sufficiency. This weekend we’re soaking in Colossians 1:15-23 as we continue our journey in Colossians.</p>

<p>A lot of us tend to compartmentalize our relationship with God from “life in the real world.” It’s as though we have our “spiritual” lives and then our “secular” lives. But from the beginning, our “life in the real world” was meant to be a part of our relationship with God. This understanding has everything to do with “flourishing” in the real world.</p>
