At worst, we could end up with another Scalia based on Bloomberg's harsh brand of conservatism. --Mayor Pete had a horrible weekend. Amy K thrashed him in the debates. New Hampshire ripped his soul at with the #WallStreetPete chant, and Joe Biden sonned him with a new ad that makes him sound as inexperienced as he is. Poor Peter. --Finally, Sanders has the movement to beat Trump. Anyone saying otherwise is a goddamned liar.

Particularly MSNBC. Listen to several clips where they completely engage in doublespeak to help Mayor Pete.--Several Black women have left the Warren campaign citing being "tokenized" by management and having their complaints ignored by HR. This does not bode well for Warren at all. Additionally, I feel like this marks the beginning of the end for Warren. However, I'll make the case in this episode that we need not slamdunk over this defection because of how pervasive the issue of tokenization is in ALL of politics from Conservatives to Communists. Not only that, we need to win as many of them over as possible. --Should Sanders team call for a recanvassing? The DNC already has. But my concern is whether we can trust the people who would be involved in the recanvassing. I'm not sure that we can. What do you think?--Finally, a young teenaged Black girl was assaulted by an NYC transit officer over a $2.50 turnstile fee that, as I have been informed, is free for school-aged children anyways. Episode 798 |--I hate when I have to debunk Right-wing conspiracy theories -- especially when they exonerate politicians I'm not fond of like Hillary Clinton (Ukrainian One) and Joe Biden (Burisma). But, we have to be careful not to engage in disingenuous arguments nor carry the water for Republicans. So one last time, Joe Biden and Hunter Biden are guilty of nepotism, but they are not guilty quid-pro-quo in the same fashion as Donald Trump. --A new attack ad on Bernie Sanders came out. But that's never enough for Republicans.--Mitch McConnell gave a heart-warming speech in the Senate chamber yesterday about unity. Mitch McConnell is by far the most devious political machiavellian whose machinations are on the scale of Senator Palpatine.

Episode 784 |Trump is taking us into war based on his ego and his ignorance. Evangelicals are giving him a religious covering. Congress will now receive their notifications about war via Twitter. Folks, we're living in the worst timeline imaginable.

Episode 783 |--Donald Trump ordered a drone strike that killed a top Iranian general as he left the Baghdad airport en route to meet with Shia militias in Iraq. The attack has stoked fears of armed conflict with Iran. The question now is, how will Iran respond and what will be the United States' response to their retaliation?--War profiteers have been making billions of dollars off of non-stop war since 2001. We often mistake the faux-patriotism of "support our troops" and the "red, white and blue" with what it really is: a windfall-profit scheme that pours trillions into the hands of defense contractors trying to hit their quarterly profit targets.--Voicemail: Ben Shapiro's followers are turning on him. At least the Left is willing to correct itself. Unfortunately, this places us all at a major disadvantage when dealing with Right-wingers who have no regard for the truth. --Fires in Australia highlight the impending climate disasters. Meanwhile, a new UN report shows that we can buy ourselves 20 years with just $300 billion. That's just the net worth of Bezos, Gates, and Buffet combined -- so it's not really that much. But odds are, the world will end before we tax the rich sufficiently.--Finally, compare Joe Biden's track record on economic policy to that of Bernie Sanders. Biden was groomed in Ronald Reagan's trickle-down, neoliberal economic theory. Sanders has been calling out the resulting concentrated wealth that those theories create for at least 33 years.

Because as we all know, the most marginalized group in our country are white, Christian men who somehow have the most economic and political power of all other groups combined. --Joe Biden says that he'd be willing to pick a Republican as a VP/running mate. Need I say more?--Neera Tanden has been, for some time, one of the most influential Democratic operatives in the nation. Today she is trending on Twitter and I believe it's because she's absolutely terrified of losing that influence to a rag-tag group of progressives.

Episode 779 | --The Intercept exposed billionaire presidential candidate, Michael Bloomberg, for using prison labor to make phone calls for his campaign. The use of prison labor for profit is nothing new. But the fact that a billionaire running for president has been caught exploiting that labor is amazingly apropos.--The Washington Post details a story of a struggling dairy farm family fighting to survive amid changes in demand for their product but very directly because of Donald Trump's trade war. But despite the direct impact of his policies, the barriers to getting assistance, and the concentration of the farm bailout going to the top 10%, these farmers are standing by their man.

Episode 778 |I'm getting over a cold and sound pretty ridiculous. Just wanted you to know. lol--Listen, Joe Biden is going to lose to Donald Trump. Anyone telling you otherwise is being grossly irresponsible with the future of our country and our planet. --In response to Christianity Today coming out against Donald Trump, the Christian Post (another magazine) has come out to defend Donald Trump. This has led to the resignation of their editor. Here's the actual cost of his plan in terms of opportunity costs as well as actual dollars you'd be losing to get this $1000.--Christianity Today is a magazine founded by Billy Graham. This didn't play out the way she had hoped.--The Affordable Care Act is a conservative idea that upholds everything Republicans ever wanted in a healthcare plan. And yet, they have stopped at nothing to destroy it. A new court ruling may give them what they seek.--Finally, Wakanda forever?

Episode 774 |--New Democratic polling shows increases for Bernie Sanders. Sanders is the most popular Democrat in the field. So let's discuss why the political establishment hates the man who the people love so much.--Donald Trump sends Nancy Pelosi an unhinged letter that should terrify every American. Episode 773 |Insulin costs only $6 to produce, but the price of insulin is doubling yet again. Why on earth do we allow profit companies to extort the most vulnerable? This is the norm in America and we have to change our way of thinking. --New report shows that workers, not corporations, pay a higher percentage in taxes to the gov't. This is by design and, yet, another thing that we have to change the mindset of the people over. --Voter purges are spreading across the country again -- this time in Wisconsin and Georgia. I know this question has been asked a thousand times, but I must pose it again: if voting didn't matter, why has so much energy been invested into keeping you from voting?-- After we vote in a progressive President, senators, and congresspeople, we have to fund progressive think tanks and media. That's the only way we can come from behind and push us towards the future.

Episode 772 | I signed up for Obamacare this weekend and LORD these prices. **NOTE** Twice I mistakenly said "copays" when I meant "deductible." **The real problem with Obamacare is that it didn't address the profit motive in the insurance industry.--New Jersey freshman Congressman Jeff Van Drew was the pick of the Democratic Establishment and the DCCC. The establishment jumped into the primaries to prop him up and suppressed a Black woman progressive. Well, Jeff Van Drew is converting to the Republican Party.--Bernie Sanders retracts his endorsement of Cenk from TYT. It's a big mess and it sucks. But part of me feels like they should have had foresight enough to know this was going to happen. --Looks like I need to address weaponized identity politics again.
