Postmaster General DeJoy and Donald Trump suffer a major setback as a federal judge orders them to halt and reverse their policies. This is a huge victory for democracy.

In one single speech, William Barr clearly enunciates why he is the most dangerous person to American Democracy. He views the Department of Justice as his own personal agency designed to carry out his orders versus carrying out justice. What’s more, he views “justice” as how he defines it versus equal justice before the law. Even worse, he, along with Trump’s Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, attempts to pass off this perversion of Justice as “equal justice before the law.”--Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, is facing extradition from the UK to the United States where he faces 175 years in prison for publishing information leaked by Chelsea Manning that revealed the depth of America’s war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq. Assange is facing 18 new counts including “hacking.” However, Assange engaged in no hacking and merely published this information in his journalistic capacity. The sad irony is this: Wikileaks sought to gain favor from then-candidate Trump and now the Trump administration is pushing forward with this extradition.

The settlement includes multiple reforms that the city must undertake to reduce the chances of this happening to another family. Finally, this settlement does not preclude the possibility of charges against the murderers of Breonna. In fact, Breonna’s mother called for their arrest while at the press conference announcing the settlement. --For years, many on the Left have labeled ICE as a fascistic police force for the Federal Gov’t. Dawn Wooten speaks out about how this organization has performed forced hysterectomies. In another case from Texas, ICE deported a key witness in the sexual assault case against the agency. Maybe it’s time for people to start listening to those of us who’ve been calling these thugs what they are for years: FASCISTS!--Donald Trump had a rough night last night on ABC’s Town Hall hosted by George Stephanopoulus. It was so bad, in fact, Laura Ingraham of Fox News called it an Ambush. In reality, it was merely the fact that Trump is genuinely a moron who has never had to deal with pushback from anyone.--Trump is such a disaster that for the first time in its 175 year history, Scientific American is endorsing a presidential candidate: Joe Biden.--We need to seriously consider what’s coming in November. We should fully expect right-wing violence, riots, and voter intimidation. This isn't to scare you. This is to ensure that you are prepared.
