<p>This week I am joined by Katherine Baquie who is a mum of 3 young girls, a physiotherapist for women, and host of The FitNest Mama Podcast. She also has anan online community to provide pregnant and new mothers with the exercises, support & resources they need to move from the overwhelm, the physical aches & pains of pregnancy and the weakness felt after birth. Today we chat about all of this postpartum recovery, as well as do a deep dive into what the pelvic floor is and why strengthening it is just as important as learning to relax it. </p><br><p>We also chat about exercising before, during and after pregnancy, why we can't let our recovery take a back seat, intensity and exercise times, your baseline of fitness, the talk test and giving yourself grace.
