APRIL 16TH, 2023 Clips from the Terry Delp story

Terry Delp gave us this conversion story on another Blog Talk radio show that I founded. The edit is choppy and I apologize for that. Myself, Terry and 2 other important members of that apostolate left because it had completely fallen into heresy and schism and irrationality. Only 1 legitimate Catholic remains and I am certain that he will eventually join us. My separation from this group was angry and bitter and I said some very colorful and uncharitable things that I have had to repent of. Welcome to the human condition. Nevertheless, we had to leave because this group has gone off the deep end of sanity and heresy. One example I left in was the testimony of one Judy Alciatore. Judy was, by any measure, a devout and wonderful person. She died a few months after this show. With full reverence to the required and appropriate respect for the deceased, for this show to openly claim that God personaly dictated poetry to this lady is exactly the kind of loopy claim that has made this apostolate crash and burn in the ratings, made our entire church look like a laughing stock and provided validation to the caricature by anti-catholics that we believe in everyone who claims a vision. Clearly, you see why separation from these kooks was needed. Contrast that with the testimony of Terry and you see what real Catholicism looks like. I was lost and now I am found. This week, Terry and I are both having to work excessive overtime at our full-time jobs which makes a live Sunday show impossible. Still, hearing his story will inspire you and show you why we are so excited by the mission of "taking it to the streets"

S1 Ep 16UnCounseling with Dr. Fred Boley, OP (episode #1)

In UnCounseling, Dr. Boley casts a skeptical eye upon his profession. Counseling and psychotherapy can be very helpful, and often are, but there are also serious problems. Problems come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Thursday, it's Operator Error! Therapists most often go into this field to help people, but our mistakes and failings limit the help we give and sometimes even hurt people. Listeners are invited to call and ask questions or share their own experiences of counseling and psychotherapy. The second half of the podcast features the conversion story of our favorite sidekick Bryan Nelson. Bryan is a father and a grandfather and entered the church just last week at the age of 54! Why??? And we finish with reasons for hope.

And if time allows, Deb has vowed to teach Dr. Fred how to chant Gregorian chant, whether he wants to or no. As usual, Deb will be asking Mary Undoer of Knots to help all of us unravel our own Tangled Mess.

S1 Ep 13In the war of love, only wounded soldiers can serve.

The Bible nowhere teaches that our salvation is only an acceptance of the "finished work of Christ". Sorry folks but this is man-made nonsense. The Bible is clear that we have to do our part and sometimes it's going to hurt.

What the last supper is all about

Years ago, I formed a Catholic Apostolate and turned it into the #1 rated religious program on Blog Talk Radio. My friends and I are about to do the same thing again. Sadly, this formerly great apostolate has been taken over by scismatics and heretics who have run it into a ditch but it was a great run while it lasted. This debate- on Transubstantiation- was one of our high moments and it is totally appropriate as revealing the significance of The Last Supper, which we commemorate tonight. Enjoy!

S1 Ep 9Tangled Mess with Deb Rojas

Join Deb and Dr. Fred Boley as they discuss a new set of tangled messes every week. This week, a 16-year-old girl gets into deep trouble and asks our therapists NOT to tell her mother. Deb explains some truly beautiful music for Holy Week, and how it fits into, and enhances, the liturgy of the Church. And as we head into the Triduum, Deb and Fred share how the intercession of Mary Undoer of Knots has blessed them. That's the plan, anyway! It's all really a Tangled Mess until we receive divine assistance. Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us!

S1 Ep 7Why we don't commemorate the Crucifixion and Resurrection on fixed dates.

From January 1st to December 31st, our calendar is literally filled with fixed dates that commeorate certain saints and certain events. The most notable exceptions center around the two most crucial salvation events- the Crucifiction of Jesus and His Ressurection just a couple of days later. Can we determine the dates thes actually happened? If we can, why are the commorated on different dates every year. For example, this year Easter is April 9th but next year it is March 31st. Why is that? Tune in to this show for the answers.
