They also discuss their frustrations with slow progress on their home renovations and their inability to tackle projects themselves due to time and financial constraints. The client and tattoo artist talk about how people these days are getting more and more tattoos and accept them as self-expression, and how there are some crazy new things going on, like people identifying as seasons. They discuss the most painful tattoos they've had and the rise in popularity of cover-up tattoos. They also touch on tattoos in the workplace, specifically at the casino where the podcast host's wife was turned away due to her hand tattoos. The tattoo artist mentions his reluctance to tattoo face tattoos. They discuss drinks and foods that have unusual origins.
They also touch on the father of the client used to be religious but stopped and encouraged the client to do whatever he wanted when the church seemed like BS. The speaker also used to be an atheist but is now open to the idea of spirituality. They talked about different Christian denominations and the client mentioned that Pentecostals believe in speaking in tongues and getting possessed by the Holy Spirit, giving an example of a man who speaks in gibberish. This is a conversation between two people about their jobs and a variety of other topics. The two discuss working in food production, watching TV shows like Ink Master and MasterChef, and growing up in a religious environment. One of the speakers shares his experiences with being part of a Christian community and participating in exorcisms as a child. The conversation ends with the two discussing the power of belief and the effectiveness of hypnotism.
