Sammy Walker shared some great stories of his time competing in high school at SMU and being a professional thrower trying to make the Olympic team.
He is a proud Texan through and through from attending college at SMU to working in the oil fields to currently owning a Whataburger.

*1968 National Record holder in the shot put as a senior in high school, a record that held for 11 years until it was broken by Michael Carter.
