When going on the clock at 27, the Indianapolis Colts come with an offer appealing enough for Buffalo to move down eight spots before making their first selection. Unlike the first two mocks, this one has trades on the table for Buffalo although (spoiler alert: none were actually made)Before drafting the guys spend some time going over six semi-realistic trade up options for Buffalo that contain prospects who quite possibly could be on the board between picks No. 15-25. The list includes three wide receivers, an offensive tackle, defensive end and defensive tackle. It becomes obvious that neither Aaron nor Patrick are willing to move up more than a few spots. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Monday was an eventful day for the Buffalo Bills and the NFL as the legal tampering period that precedes free agency began. Patrick Moran is joined by Joe from Queens to discuss some of the more notable moves, including the Bills losing their start middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to the Chicago Bears.The Bills were hoping to find a way to retain Edmunds but that went out the window by 4:00pm Monday when reports circulated that Edmunds agreed to a four-year, $72 million deal with $50 million guaranteed with Chicago. The guys have plenty of thoughts on the situation including if he's worth that kind of money and is Brandon Beane dropped the ball by not locking Edmunds up a year or two earlier. Regardless of how you feel about Edmunds it's a hard look for a team to take a guy in the first round, develop him into a Pro Bowler and then watch him leave without a second contract.The Bills did do some acquiring and retaining on Monday, picking up former Dallas offensive guard Connor McGovern to likely replace Roger Saffold.
