In 1989, the world was introduced to Bill S. Preston, Esquire, and Ted "Theadore" Logan, and their band to be, "Wyld Stallyns." These to goofballs with the lovable personality of labrador retrievers, showed us how history and rock n roll could come together in a perfect union. Two years later, they showed us how they could even win over Death himself, and even get him to join the band. Join us as we dive into the stories and fun of these two amazing movies, in preparation for this months release of the last chapter of this most excellent adventure.

In 1987 George Michael destroyed the bubble gum pop image he had created by releasing the first single from Faith, "I Want Your Sex!" The album would go on to have four #1 hits and become the biggest selling album of 1988. But, does it hold up after 33 years?! Is it better than KICK released by INXS in the same month of 1987. In 1977, Burt Reynolds agreed to be in his roommate, stuntman Hal Needham's, directorial debut despite it being the worst script he had ever read. What resulted was a defining role for Reynolds and a sleeper hit for Needham finishing second that year only to Star Wars. Four years and four movies later, Needham and Reynolds teamed up for another defining role and star-studded mega hit, The Cannonball Run. Both movies are nothing but fun where you as the viewer are along for the ride. In 1985, Sammy Hagar took over the vocal duties for the mighty Van Halen. Eddie was already increasingly adding keyboards to make more melodic Van Halen songs. When Sammy starting writing songs, he starts adding the word "love" where it wasn't before. These additions were a change in style that worked for some fans and not for others.
