Special Announcement!!
We're changing direction. After 98 episodes and 2 years making Our Voices, I've decided to switch the focus of the show. It will now be called Stories of Men: Beneath the Surface. I want to continue our positive impact, but challenges around the theme of masculinity have been present throughout my whole life. 8. The long journey from emotional breakdown to recovery
EDarren openly discusses the plethora of negative feelings that contributed to his emotional breakdown on his way to work. He was working in finance. It was an industry that had provided him with the good life. However, he knew that something deep down was not right. He had been drinking too much and struggling to sleep at night. All of this came to a head on one fateful morning. “I physically stopped. I stopped and I looked at this big glass building and these big doors that I've walked in so many times. I couldn't. It was as if my legs had grown roots.”*********************Check out the Stories Of Men website for more on this storyWe're also on Facebook, Twitter and InstagramA Fascinate Production
