R Multiple is the amount you won or lost in terms of your risk. Knowing your R Multiple will help you position size correctly in which we will cover in another episode. In this episode, we'll talk through the basics of the R Multiple and how to think about it when it comes to credit spreads.
I learned the concept of R-Multiples from a book called "Trading Your Way To Financial Freedom" by Van Tharp. Upon preparing for this episode, I found out that Van Tharp recently passed away and am dedicating this episode to him as he has helped so many traders in his lifetime.
