The Rays force Game 5 of the American League Division Series as they beat Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros 4-1 before another raucous crowd at Tropicana Field. Tommy Pham hit a home run in the 1st, part of a 3-run inning and the Rays would never trail. The defense shined as well as Ji-Man Choi made several good plays at 1st base, and the Rays nailed Jose Altuve at the plate on a perfect relay from Kevin Kiermaier to Willy Adames to Travis d'Arnaud in the 4th to keep the Astros off the board. Rays Rolling After Sweep of Indians, Bucs Cut Roster To 53, and USF and Florida State Have Rough Starts To Season

Matt Gay looks like he's won the kicking battle and Vincent Testaverde Jr. played well as his dad watched 30 years after playing for the Bucs himself.
