S1 Ep 36Jennifer's Body (2009): "Good 4 Her"
EHappy Pride, Spookies!!! We’re kicking off the month by featuring films that couldn’t get much gayer because they actually *are* gay — and we’re starting with Jennifer’s Body, one of the most perfect and iconic films of all time. The world still needs to deliver a serious apology to Karyn Kusama, Diablo Cody, Megan Fox, and Amanda Seyfried, but in the meantime, our latest episode of Spooky Tuesday will serve as the love letter it needs and deserves.

S1 Ep 35Society (1989): "Eat The Rich"
EInterested in the weirdest class conscious, body horror flick you’ve probably never heard of??? This week, we’re taking on Society, a 1989 film from Brian Yuzna about a teenage boy growing up in a family he can’t quite relate to. But it’s not just a movie about feeling out of place, trusting your gut, and eating the rich, it’s also packed with front butt moments, gross red goo, and tiny blonde hairballs. There’s a LOT to unpack here — and we’re doing it all on a new Spooky Tuesday.

S1 Ep 34Prom Night (2008): "Idris Elba Is In This"
EDoes our episode title not say it all? Idris Elba is in Prom Night (2008), and we’re talking about that incredible piece of casting and all the rest on a new episode of Spooky Tuesday. Also starring Brittany Snow, Jason from Friday Night Lights, Terri from Glee, Kellan Lutz from Stick It, and Ming-Na Wen from Mulan, it has a fairly stacked crew — which might be all that it has going for it depending on who you ask. Dubbed a “baby slasher” by our hosts and given a PG-13 rating, it may or may not deliver on the scares, but it definitely doesn’t deliver on the fake blood front.

S1 Ep 33A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984): "He's Got Pizzazz"
ETalk about a movie that’ll give you bad dreams! On a new Spooky Tuesday, we’re talking about Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), the film that launched Johnny Depp’s career, introduced us to Fred Kreuger himself, and (probably) inspired Home Alone. It’s also got plenty of CLEAR references to Scream — or vice versa if you don’t subscribe to that whole time-is-a-flat-circle concept. As we break down this Wes Craven classic, we’re discussing all things crop tops, long arms, and LA filming locations.

S1 Ep 32Ma (2019): "The Dick We Deserve"
EAre you ~down to clown~ with Ma (2019)? On a new Spooky Tuesday, we’re taking on the Octavia Spencer original, a must-see if only because it is the first film we’ve covered that delivers the nudity we deserve: Luke Evans’ dick. Or possibly a fake dick? We’re investigating that question and more as we weigh in on the movie that launched a thousand memes.

S1 Ep 31The Boy (2016): "Never Trust A Child"
EWhat is there to say about The Boy (2016) that Chelsea could possibly write that Monica and Sydney would not eviscerate her for? On a new episode of Spooky Tuesday, things get tense as our hosts battle it out over the last Doll Month movie. Featuring a porcelain doll named Brahms, the lost art of reading chewing gum, an incredible sturdy towel situation, and an iconic haunted house out in the middle of nowhere, The Boy has a lot going for it — but opinions differ on whether it delivers.

S1 Ep 30Magic (1978): "A Punch in the Giggle Dick"
EIt’s very possibly one of the fundamental laws of physics that all ventriloquist dummies must turn the creep factor up to 11, but Fats takes it to a whole new level in Magic (1978). In a new episode of Spooky Tuesday, Doll Month continues as we finally explore one of life’s greatest mysteries: Was Anthony Hopkins ever a young person? His age in this movie may be solidly in the middle, but his performance is off the charts.

S1 Ep 29Annabelle Creation (2017): "Army of Demonic Annabelles"
EWatch your back, Chucky — there’s a new haunted toy in town! This week’s installment of Doll Month is all about Annabelle: Creation (2017), and it just might be the best thing to come out of the Conjuring Cinematic Universe. In our latest episode, we’re unpacking the origin story and doing the math to see just how it stacks up against the film we’ve already covered. Maybe Annabelle can help out with her new knowledge of long division?

S1 Ep 28Child's Play (1988): "Baby Blood Pact"
EIt’s here, it’s here, Doll Month is finally here! You know we had to start with the ultimate haunted doll flick, which is why Spooky Tuesday is kicking off our first theme month by taking on Child’s Play (1988). It’s the movie that gave us Chucky, Seventh Heaven Mom, a new girlfriend named Maggie, another rant about cultural appropriation, and a lifetime of trauma — so, suffice it to say, it’s iconic. On our latest episode, we’re breaking down all of that and more, including Monica’s cursed crush on a serial killer and Sydney’s starring role as the Bride of Chucky.

S1 Ep 27The Fly (1986): "Insect Politics"
EIt’s the great debate of our time: Is Jeff Goldblum hot in his role as the Brundlefly? On a new Spooky Tuesday, your beloved cohosts are at odds as we take on The Fly (1986), but there’s at least one thing we can all agree on, which is that all six feet of Geena Davis could step on us. Join us as we break down all the classic David Cronenberg body horror, pay homage to Tawny, and make a case for gene splicing yourself with an ant instead.

S1 Ep 26Ready or Not (2019): "A New Scream Queen Rises"
EIs your family empire even a dominion if you haven’t made an actual deal with the devil? In Ready Or Not (2019), the Le Domases put the rich in ritual goat sacrifice, and Grace is about to find out just what it costs to be one of them… or, uh, not. When the mysterious Mr. Le Bail reveals she’s in for a game of hide and seek — and therefore next for the slaughter — she has to find a way to stay out of sight all night or die trying. This week’s Spooky Tuesday is a love letter to Samara Weaving’s final girl grit, her unearthly scream queen wail, and the incomparable way with words she has when delivering a string of filthy phrases.

S1 Ep 25Leprechaun (1993): "My Immortal"
EBefore Rachel Green, there was Tory Reding — and before there was Tory Reding, there was Dan O’Grady, who as it turns out may NOT have actually known the rules when it comes to robbing a mythical creature for their gold. In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, Spooky Tuesday is taking on Leprechaun (1993) this week, and it’s a doozy. As we attempt to unpack the horror comedy and role that should’ve won Jennifer Aniston her Oscar, we also take a crack at the age old question, “Was My Immortal a parody?”

S1 Ep 24The Invisible Man (2020): "It's On Sight"
EIf an invisible man gaslights you for a whole movie but no one is around to see it, is he still played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen? This week's Spooky Tuesday answers that age-old question and more as we take on The Invisible Man (2020), which isn't just a remake but a reimagining of the classic creepy story. Featuring Elisabeth Moss, a dog that lives to the end of the film, Aldis Hodge's arm muscles, and one very scary puff of hot air, this flick is a must-see modern movie.

S1 Ep 23The Roommate (2011): "Flip Phone and a Dream"
EHappy move in day, freshman! For the next week, we’ll be bunking with The Roommate (2011), the teen thriller that scored an astonishing 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. With a cast straight out of your CW dreams, mental health messaging from hell, and the first canon gay character in Spooky Tuesday history, there’s a lot to discuss in our latest episode.

S1 Ep 22Candyman (1992): "Gimme That Bee Kiss"
EAs the great Christina Aguilera says, “Sweet, sugar, Candyman (1992).” A new episode of Spooky Tuesday is all about the sexiest boogeyman we know — and we’re not talking about the Babadook. Not only is Candyman one of the scariest movies we’ve watched yet, it also has a lot to say. This week, we’re talking about what it did right, the moments that missed the mark, and all of the times we wanted Helen and Bernadette to kiss. Join us as we put our three heads together and try and come up with a couple good thoughts.

S1 Ep 21Valentine (2001): "He's No Angel"
Did your date bail on you for Valentine’s Day? Did you never even have a date? Give yourself a do-over with three Spooky Tuesday cuties as we take on Valentine (2001), one of those classic bad-good movies from the early aughts with an absolutely stacked cast. But the stars aren’t the only things that are iconic about this film — the kills just might haunt you for years to come.

S1 Ep 20The Conjuring (2013): "Bathsheba Crazy"
EIf we give The Conjuring (2013) five knives out of fives, will Vera Farmiga come and touch us on the forehead and remind us of our fondest memory? We’re willing to negotiate our ratings on this week’s Spooky Tuesday, where we’re talking about the creepy classic — and the first entry into the Conjuring Cinematic Universe.

S1 Ep 19Get Duked! (2019): "High in the Highlands"
EIs Get Duked! (2020) the best horror flick you’ve probably never heard of? When Monica suggested we add the Amazon original to the Spooky Tuesday schedule, we weren’t sure what to expect — but with all of the intensity and energy of a music video and all of the Britishisms and delinquent charm of Misfits or The Inbetweeners, this movie is a guaranteed good time.

S1 Ep 18The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966): "Attaboy, Mr. Boob!"
ESpooky Tuesday been a little too spooky for you these past few Tuesdays? Take a break and relax with the charmingly quirky murder mystery that is The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966). Starring Don Knotts and certified hottie Joan Staley, this sweet little flick has scares appropriate for all ages but plenty of moments that will still make you jump. Plus, it’s Sydney’s childhood favorite, so you know it’s something special.

S1 Ep 17House of Wax (2005): "Watch Paris Die"
EIs there any horror film more unfairly underrated than House of Wax (2005)? Starring Paris Hilton and more intensely mid-2000's than you can even imagine, this movie was panned by both critics and audiences, but Spooky Tuesday is here this week to tell you that it's a flawless film, actually. Our love for this flick knows no bounds — even if it does have us weirdly rooting for incest.

S1 Ep 16The Witch (2015): "Black Phillip, the G.O.A.T"
EWho knew that we had this much to say about The VVitch (2015)? When it comes to the "New England folktale," we just couldn't shut up — and we guess that figures since this is Monica's favorite Spooky Tuesday yet. On our new episode, we're talking about sexy wood chopping, Game of Thrones, and an IRL demonic goat who stole the show on set.

S1 Ep 15Sleepy Hollow (1999): "The Power of Magic GPS"
EEver wanted to watch someone get impaled with a church post? Then Sleepy Hallow (1999) is the movie for you. A new Spooky Tuesday takes on the Time Burton classic full of iconic characters, dramatic swoons, and the best three- in-one death scene we've ever seen. The Headless Horseman isn't messing around, and he's not the only killer we're stanning in the fantastical flick.

S1 Ep 14Better Watch Out (2016): "Eat Shit, Incels"
EWhat happens when the Home Alone kid grows up and gets interested in girls — or at least one girl in particular? This Spooky Tuesday, we're tackling Better Watch Out (2016), the film that takes Kevin McCallister's childish hijinks and turns them into preteen predatory behaviors. Without getting too spoilery right off the bat, all we can say in that this is a movie that slaps you in the face about 30 minutes in — and then it just keeps spinning out of control.

S1 Ep 13Black Christmas (1974): "Like A Tuna Farm, Baby"
EWhat more could you want for Christmas than a stunningly spooky tale of stranger danger at a sorority house? This week, we're taking on the original Black Christmas (1974), a decadent film full of badass girls, fabulous fur coats, and what may or may not be the first canonically bisexual character in Spooky Tuesday history (well, other than the Babadook)

S1 Ep 12Gremlins (1984): "Big Pain, Much Suffering"
EDid anyone else mistakenly remember Gremlins (1984) as a sweet movie about little monsters at Christmas time? Yeah, that is...not that. One our latest episode of Spooky Tuesday, we're talking about the king, the legend, the adorable little creature who inspired Furbies, Baby Yoda, and Vin Diesel himself: Gizmo. Oh, and we're talking about his creepy reptile cousins, too. Come for the holiday spirit, but stay for the hot takes on cultural appropriation.

S1 Ep 11The Lodge (2019): "Masterclass in Gaslighting"
ECults — yikes, are we right? On our latest episode of Spooky Tuesday, we're talking about The Lodge (2019), which unfortunately isn't actually a lesbian ghost story and instead tackles the tale of a woman slowly losing touch with reality after she's forced to confront her rocky religious past. But, hey, at least it has Alicia Silverstone!

S1 Ep 10The Blair Witch Project (1999): "The Safe Word Is Taco"
ENo one's doing it quite like The Blair Witch Project (1999). Not only did the found footage-style film reenergize a genre, it also seriously freaked fans out without ever showing something spooky on screen. The movie was totally one-of-a-kind — and we'll get around to talking about it on this week's "Spooky Tuesday" just as soon as we can stop geeking out over how it was made.

S1 Ep 9ThanksKilling (2008): "Happy Tits-giving, Biotch"
EThis Thanksgiving, it's all about the turkey — and the turkey is all about revenge. In ThanksKilling (2009), a vengeful turkey returns from the grave to enact justice on behalf of Native Americans everywhere, and he does it all while offending all kinds of other marginalized groups. On this episode of Spooky Tuesday, we're celebrating the holiday, debating a murderous turkey's morality, and absolutely not getting into the logistics of turkey sex.

S1 Ep 8Sinister (2012): "What's His Name? Gabagool?"
EIs it time for Ethan Hawke's redemption arc? In our eighth "Spooky Tuesday" episode, we're giving him a second chance as we take on 'Sinister' (2012), a seriously scary film that's just as spooky as it sounds. But you know what doesn't sound so spooky? A child-eating creature named Gabagool. With our knack for pronunciation, this review of a demonic film takes a predictable detour into silliness.

S1 Ep 7The Purge (2013): "Too Close To Home"
EWas it a mistake to watch 'The Purge' the night after the election? Yes. Are we feeling a lot better now that the results are in? Definitely. But if you'd like a little window into our anxiety spiral and the politics of 'The Purge', then this is the episode for you as we tweak the storyline, break down all the many dumb bitches, and discover a new pronunciation of Ethan Hawke's name.

S1 Ep 6The Babadook (2014): "It's The Fucking Babadook"
ELet the Babadiscourse begin! On our latest episode of Spooky Tuesday, we're taking on the moving tale of a queer icon struggling to find acceptance with his family. Just kidding. Or maybe not! Not only are we diving into The Babadook and the seriously scary (and heartbreaking) story it tells, we're also exploring just how Mister Babadook himself became a beloved pop culture figure.

S1 Ep 5Donnie Darko (2001): "Three Beautiful Idiots"
EAre we smart enough to talk about Donnie Darko (2001)? We don't know, but we're sure going to give it a shot. During this episode, we'll break down time travel and the theory of the manipulated living (sort of), how Grandma Death is actually an iconic nickname, and whether or not Frank was hotter before he got shot in the face.Send us a text

S1 Ep 4Scream 4 (2011): "Horny for Murder"
EApologies to Sydney: Chelsea and Monica talked a lot of shit, but as it turns out they just might have some love for Scream 4 (2011). We're closing out the Scream franchise as we talk about how the last installment stacks up against the original trilogy, how much we love Queen Kirby, and what we're hoping to see in Scream 5.

S1 Ep 3Scream 3 (2000): "The Best Scream Movie"
EShe's finally here, and she's that bitch. Scream 3 (2000) is an absolutely wild ride — but, despite that, it also tackles some dark subjects. While the third installment in the franchise might feel more like a Scooby Doo movie than a slasher, it also raises a hearty middle finger to one of its own producers, Harvey Weinstein. Send us a text

S1 Ep 2Scream 2 (1997): "Looking for the Dark Web, Don't Text"
EHow does the sequel stack up? Scream was that bitch, but Scream 2 (1997) definitely had its moments. Tune in to see what we love, what we hated, and how we think Sidney Prescott deserves to get a girlfriend.

S1 Ep 1Scream (1996): "Gutted Like a Trout"
EHow could we dedicate a podcast to our love of the genre and start anywhere but the original love letter to horror? In our inaugural Spooky Tuesday episode, we're tackling Scream (1996). From our fictional blood thirsty boyfriends to our own thirst for fake blood, we're talking about it all.
