A realized yogi sheds his skin, but does not grow a new one. Since there is no outside and no inside to the Real, no skin boundary or defensive shield is either necessary or possible. The Self has no other, no enemy, and no limit. All fear drops away.

The chattering ego mind functions as a veil to separate our consciousness from the realization of the Whole. Some parts are helpful and compassionate, others may be dark and demonic. Still others may be sad, frightened, anxious, ashamed, confused, and feel powerless. This turns the ego into a conflicted hell realm. There is a path of purification that leads quickly through Purgatorio to the superconscious Paradiso of the Supreme Self. If you are willing to leave your attachments behind, your inner wisdom will guide you to freedom.

Salvation can only be our own receipt of forgiveness from the Merciful Lord Who abides within the Heart as the Self. Once forgiven for the sin of egocentricity and separation from the Self, one is freed from the delusions of duality. Perception becomes cleansed of its defilements and the perfection of the divine beauty of the Real is recognized with awe and wonder. Consciousness gladly surrenders to be absorbed into the Blissful Light.

Consciousness is constantly morphing, causing the world to appear as a metastable process of mutation, leading to an entropic disjunction of desires and drives, reflected as a world on the edge of chaos. Consciousness and its world both undergo the passage into annihilation. But then, as the chaos converts into pure potentiality, it morphs into a new and perfect order. Thus, the world dies and is reborn. Worldhood itself is without beginning or end. Time is not other than eternity.

Because we have abandoned our love for the Mother Goddess and the Father God, and their internal integration as pure mutuality of divine adoration, the life energy has gone out of our archetypal forms and fallen into the morbid and demonic realm of the hungry ghosts and zombie egos, which clash in the darkness of a desert world on the brink of self-annihilation. Only a return to the fullness of the Zero will emanate the salvific power of the Source of our Being.

No one is in bondage. Only the choice to believe the ego narratives diverts the attention from the Supreme Presence within—and equally without. This is a universal truth. The illumined sages of every spiritual lineage have passed this on as their legacy. That is why it is often called the Perennial Philosophy. But theoretical knowledge is not enough: The habit of forgetfulness of Self must be abandoned.

Ultimate reality is closer than the present moment and never becomes past or future. To perceive this Truth is already to be liberated and forever free. But the timebound mind, which veils the Real, must be dropped so that all is revealed and transcended.

The Buddha Mind loves paradox. Once you are energized by the recognition that the world is Nirvana, and that Nirvana is not other than the apparent world, all the predispositions of the linear mind that produce the bondage of reification drop away spontaneously. In the revelation of the Self as naked Presence, all is perceived as miraculous and awesomely beautiful. Attainment of Liberation is the result of dropping all fear and desire, all thought constructs, and all judgments.

Today, many people are functioning as hungry ghosts. And many are paralyzed spiritually by feelings of disgust and shame about their self-images, histories, and modes of self-presentation. In this context, Shunyamurti retells a story originally told by Acharya Sthaneshwar Timalsina about his meeting with an Aghori guru—and explores the implications of the extreme lifestyles and practices of those pariah yogis with amazing powers. To love God is to love your Self. This love transcends all worlds. It is now the will of God to bring complete peace by returning all souls to their Source in the Unmanifest Supreme Reality.

In order not to deviate from the highest trajectory of the unfoldment of Consciousness, one must stay attuned to the Dao. This is the Logos that unites Nirvana with Samsara—nonduality with multiplicity—thus transforming the cosmic hologram into the pure reflection of the Infinite Intelligence. One perceives the Real unstained by egoic delusions that produce the sense of conflict, imperfection, and evil. In this way, the great work of divine alchemy is completed.

The war in Ukraine has suddenly disappeared from the news, replaced by a new war in the Middle East. Rather than getting lost in the labyrinth of conspiracy theories about the identity of the puppet master, or paranoia about the likelihood of this escalating into global nuclear war, it is imperative to remain centered in the Real Self and understand the spiritual significance of what is unfolding—and to act in accord with the Dao of these final days. The psychology of the postmodern ego is so cynical that it can even turn the truth of nonduality into a reason for fear and dissatisfaction. However, knowledge is power. Once we understand the dynamics of the ego mind, we can make alterations in its functioning. And the intellect can deconstruct the ego entirely and sublimate its energies so that consciousness shifts its locus to the highest level of its own spectrum. We’re at the end of the line. Life has become hollow. Now is the moment we must be hallowed. God has secretly returned to the world, but we must choose to return to God by detaching from all worldly values and attuning to the energy coming from the Source, which will infuse us with the blissful and beautiful mandala that will congeal into a new world of perfect goodness.

The ego-mind is conditioned and controlled by its habitual drives and thought patterns that prevent self-transformation. But through accurate analysis and understanding that arises from archetypal symbolic wisdom, one can unveil the profound Presence of God obscured by the ego’s incoherence. Evolution and involution are occurring simultaneously in our current world condition One force hardens the ego shell, the other softens it. To speed up the bursting open of the bounded mind to transform into the Supreme Self, one can either enter the boiling oil of karma or apply the microwaves of adoration to morph by the grace of God.

One Mind contains us all, but each one must decide to connect to the Cosmic Self directly and consciously. You must overcome all fear in order to break through the ego defenses, since to the ego, connecting to God means death.

We have the gift of free will and can now choose either a life of divinization or one of degradation and destruction. Why not dance in delight in the sky of perfect mind rather than stay trapped in the ruined, lawless, and loveless landscapes of illusion?

Meditation can destroy the inner demons of the ego’s delusional duality, as well as the greater illusion of the cosmic hologram in which the subject seems to be embedded. If you are ready and willing to break though the virtual reality represented as the sensory manifold, you become a true Sat yogi by focusing on the core of constant Presence and attune to the vibrational frequency of the all-saturating energy of luminous, blissful power—the locus from which the unfoldment of the world process is determined. Consciousness is Beauty, Beatitude, and Bliss. But once the desire to possess that beauty arises, it becomes perceived as an external world, and the perceiving mind is afflicted by lack and separation. The more one complains, the more ugly and antagonistic one’s world becomes. And one is then trapped on the wheel of karma. The Truth is that all is forever perfect! The kingdom of heaven arrives when one sees that. This is the deep insight of Dzogchen and the deepest teaching of all authentic spiritual traditions.
