This week we have a hot off the press lineup of stories and current news from the hunting world. The turkey stamp is now available in Mississippi, which I believe to be a huge conservation win. In less positive news, MS House bill 828- called the "Fair Chase Act" is potentially going to put a stop to hunting with dogs on public land and on Private land that is less than 2000 contiguous acres. In this days before Christmas episode, we talk central Mississippi rutting deer, old lever action rifles, slip or still hunting, and what has caused the severe decline in quality of duck hunting in Mississippi. Check it out!

Kurt Colgrove and Justin Ballard are the owners and operators fo Paragon Aerial solution based out of Alabama. In this episode, Jordan interviews them about their use of drones to survey properties for deer and land management purposes, putting a whole new twist on capability in being able to understand what the deer herd is like on any particular property. We must say, this is one of the most innovative and constructive uses of drones that we have seen to date! They also discuss a specific property survey they conducted with a property with Jordan the very day the interview was recorded. Y'all have to Check this out!

The whitetail rut seems to have arrived early, however Jordan has yet to capitalize on it. We took Jordan's young daughter duck hunting and had a blast, I accidentally gave my wife the scare of her life getting up to go duck hunting this past weekend, and we still are pondering when the ducks will get down here. Lake recounts his New Mexico elk hunt. Jordan tells stories of choir practice and getting winded by doe deer. Both go back and forth about their level of optimism surrounding the upcoming Mississippi duck season and the remainder of the deer season. Check it out!

Lake has been gone for two weeks chasing ducks, pheasants, and whitetail bucks in the Dakotas. Jordan has finally taken to the deer woods and found success, and he also has a pretty cool story about getting back his bow that he bought he was 15 years old.
