For her SPANDAU20 mixtape, DJ MELL G delivers a high-energy ride through her world of dystopian electro and techno. SPND20 Mixtape by Skudge
New SPANDAU20 Mixtape in session: @skudge-1 steps in with a live recording 📼 Built on rhythm, groove and a deep trust in simplicity, Skudge has carved out a distinct space in modern techno since the project first emerged in 2009. What began as a duo from Stockholm has since evolved into a solo venture, but the core remains unchanged: stripped-back, functional and driven by the power of repetition. For this SPANDAU20 Mixtape, Skudge delivers a live set recorded at Globus, Tresor on January 30th, 2026. A hardware-heavy session packed with drum machine rhythms, jams and a stack of new and unreleased material. Raw, direct and locked into the moment.🔊 Music for body and soul, recorded straight from the floor. Press play and step in.🖤

SPND20 Mixtape by Mor Elian
Just in: @morelian joins the SPANDAU20 mixtape series. 📼 Berlin-based DJ and producer Mor Elian has carved out a sound shaped by movement: from a decade in Los Angeles to her current base in Berlin, across clubs, studios and long stretches on the road. Co-running the Fever AM label and releasing on imprints like Hypercolour and Radio Matrix, her work has always leaned forward - percussion-driven, rhythmically curious and unconcerned with straight lines. Alongside her club releases, she’s explored sound design and ambient work under her Alloy Sea alias and has now started a new chapter with her debut album on Topo 2. For SPANDAU20, Elian delivers her most techno-leaning mix in some time. Direct, energetic and built for the floor, it stays grounded in techno while carrying the mutant edge of Fever AM - warped rhythms, shifting intensity and a sense of controlled unpredictability. Mixed at home on her own setup, the mix is tight, physical and made to move. Tune in and let it roll. 🖤

SPND20 Mixtape by Ogazón
New SPANDAU20 Mixtape in session - @ogazon steps in.📼 Ogazón is an artist who moves with full conviction. Releasing all inhibitions, she pours herself fully into her performances, shaping sets as journeys rather than fixed narratives. Her approach is deeply intuitive and audience-focused, with a sensitivity to context and atmosphere that allows house and techno to merge effortlessly, blurring any perceived boundaries between the two.🔊 For Ogazón, SPANDAU20 equals party, and this mixtape lives exactly there. Imagined as the final hour of a set, it’s the moment where risks feel right: energy rises and falls, moods flip, and unexpected track combinations reshape the room. Recorded at home on a cold, stormy winter day, the mix blends vinyl, dubplates, old favourites and new discoveries. Expect tribal rhythms, driving but deep grooves and seductive vocals - focused, physical and made for bodies in motion. Lock in and let it unfold. 🖤

SPND20 Mixtape by Jerome Hill
New SPANDAU20 Mixtape in rotation - @Jeromehill steps in. 📼 In the scene since 1990, Jerome Hill is one of those figures who shaped techno from the inside out: from illegal London raves and record shops to running cult labels like DON’T, Super Rhythm Trax, Bleeper and more, his path has always been hands-on, curious and rooted in the dancefloor. His style is instantly recognizable. A sharp selections, fearless shifts in mood, and a rare ability to integrate scratching into techno without breaking the flow. For his SPANDAU20 Mixtape, Jerome delivers a colourful, lived-in journey mixed on vinyl and USB. He moves freely between intensity levels, weaving in tracks he’s been playing out recently and are memorable - sometimes dramatic, sometimes playful, always focused on the energy. This one’s raw, direct and full of character. Press play and let it run. 🖤

SPND20 Mixtape by Luca Lozano
New SPND20 Mixtape in the collection! Welcome @lucalozano 📼 Owner, A+R, artist and designer at @Klasse Wrecks, Luca Lozano has long operated where sound, visual language and attitude intersect. With releases on his own label, Sex Tags UFO, Phantasy Sound, Hypercolour, Running Back and beyond, plus his visual universe as planetluke.com, his work has always resisted neat categories, favoring character over convention. For this SPND20 Mixtape, Luca looks back to formative years in Berlin. New Year’s nights at Arena Berlin in 2004/05, musically the city was a melting pop of minimal, tech house and electro. Genres were undefined and there was a playfulness to the music, a wonky glacial cleanness to the funky grooves. It was an exciting and uncynical time and things felt undiscovered and exciting. It’s also where early connections with FJAAK took shape: studio visits in Neukölln, laptops full of sketches, ideas still embryonic.✨ That spirit runs through the mix. Luca revisits sounds and labels that once shaped him - acid lines, playful grooves, found again in the neglected corners of his own record bag. Woven into a journey that feels loose, curious and alive. For those listening closely, the closing moments hold a special nod to the shared history between FJAAK and Klasse Wrecks. A mix rooted in memory, made for movement. 🖤

SPND20 Mixtape by Mr. G
Our new SPND20 Mixtape comes from none other than the mighty @official-mr-g. 📼 If you know, you know: Mr. G is one of dance music’s true originals. From the early days in the legendary KCC crew and his influential work as half of The Advent, to decades of solo output under his own name, Colin McBean has never strayed from his roots. With releases on Rekids, Moods ‘n’ Grooves, Defected, and his own long-running Phoenix G imprint, his raw, bass-heavy electronic-tech-funk sound has moved floors and minds all over the world. Now, for one of his rare mixtape appearances, we’re honored to share this special vinyl-only piece from his archive. Recorded on two Technics 1210's and a Rane MP2015 mixer and mixed down to CD with added weight, the mix had been sleeping for years until Mr. G pressed play and surprised even himself. It’s meditative, deep, and packed with the personality you only get when the machines are running hot. It captures the raw energy, honesty, and unmistakable feel that only Mr. G can deliver: just pure groove, and even a cheeky cable cut halfway through that adds to the charm. It’s not often he shares this side, so we’re grateful he let us dig it out. For us, it’s a perfect snapshot of where he comes from and what he still brings to the table today. A true original. So you better put on those headphones and dive deep into this one!🔊

Elli Acula - Floating Eyes
Buy here: found.ee/spandau20-010 Spandau20, an imprint named after the Western Berlin district and focused on artists from the area, delivers techno in all diverse forms – from warehouse and electronic peak time beats to breaks and IDM, balancing the old and new school sounds flawlessly. With a focus on vinyl releases, for the collectors, Spandau20 has lately also focused on its label nights, with showcases at Fabric, Bassiani and many others. The label’s 10th release features 10 tracks that epitomise the musical diversity of Spandau20 and the progressive musical mindset of its roster, calling on the label favourites and Spandau natives to deliver brand new and exciting music. This special release even features one track that all artists have worked on together: ‘Come Closer’, a swarming, slithering beginning featured as the VA’s opener. Its barely coherent female vocal echoing amidst a cacophony of demon-like effects. The chilling ambience captured at the offset transcends into the first full length track by Elli Acula, ‘Floating Eyes’, a cur characterised by an authoritative, pounding bass featuring calculated percussive rolls and metallic overtones to make for a face-scrunching opener to this devilish collection of works. FJAAK follow for the first of twin cameo appearances, partnering up with fellow live supremo and hardware aficionado KiNK. On ‘Overbridge’ the trio deliver a cavernous, rolling number driven by a deep thrumming bass in addition to a razor-edged lead synth, and pulsating technopattern. Dajusch is known for incorporating his years of classical study in with his immersive musical style – and with his VA effort the Berlin native neatly showcases this. Easing the energy slightly, ‘Move’ escalates from its warm, melodic intro into rumbling goliath of a beat comprising a looping, slew of gassy harmonics. The momentum of the release shifts considerably with the introduction of acutely versatile producer, DJ and sound artist Claus. The artist from Spandau leans his track ‘Bloomscroll’ towards sparse, dubby sonics in which he intricately ties together to form churning, burgeoning soundscape. FJAAK jolt proceedings back into the techno groove with their signature blend of arresting sub-bass and reverberating rhythms, which come thick, fast and heavy on ‘Jackfruit’. The abstract wonder of Anna Z’s broken-beat like stylings is fully explored on ‘Icy Liq’. It’s outlandish and amorphous in its execution, causing a clattering percussive chaos that’s choicely pieced together by the modular-extraordinaire. Nikk stealthy moves into breaks territory with his track ‘Down In The Shadows’, packing a trap-like snare with an acid-flecked melody and dawn-breaking, dream-like textures. The penultimate track on the VA is ‘Tufted’. J.Manuel expertly employs a chorus of robot-like sonics that course through a short-circuiting low-end to produce a pacy, inescapable journey via a whirling, merciless beat. He is joined by the legendary producer Tobi Neumann for their menacingly ambient number titled ‘Fennec.’ In parts a nod to UK dubstep, the duo concocts a fierce admixture of styles bolstering tribal-like components with industrialised overtones and methodically crafted drum-fills.
