We have the best of intentions, but it can feel scary sometimes when we try to set healthy boundaries around things like food and screen time, and our kids start sneaking those things in an attempt to hide them. We want to keep the healthy limits, without having our children develop an unhealthy compulsion to hide them or have it become a power struggle. In this episode, we explore this issue, along with how to maintain a friendship with someone who parents completely differently than you.
We also have a discussion about Santa, and give some ideas on how to enjoy magic in a way that aligns with your family’s priorities.
