Connection is a foundational pillar of our parenting philosophy on Find the Magic along with boundaries, unconditional love and presence; we view connection as the vital, healing salve that can repair wounds and refill our empty buckets. In today's episode, we break down how we can connect with our kids, ourselves, and our spouse. Filling our own bucket first allows us to connect with others. We offer some of our favorite tips for reconnecting with yourself and specifically how reconnecting with our bodies can remedy feelings of burnout and exhaustion. How gratitude offers us strength through trying times and realizing that we are connected with those who came before us can bring perspective. We dive deep into the traditional differences in need between males and females and how need for affection can collide with a need for sexual connection. We wrap up with gentle reminders of how we may be distracted in our parenting and guide you in ways you can find little moments sprinkled in your day where you can take advantage of connecting with your kids (even in discipline!**).
