Show Notes

We ALL make mistakes. Every single one of us. Sometimes, even with the best of intentions, we hurt people. Although many of us are over apologizers for unnecessary things, we often become non-apologizers when it comes time to truly say we are sorry. We buffer it with defensiveness or ego, and our attempts at apologies fall flat. Our relationships suffer when this happens.

In this episode, we address how over apologizing is unhelpful and give tips on how to avoid it, and then we delve deep into what makes a true apology, and how to get out of the way of our ego enough to truly make amends in our relationships.

This topic is so beautiful because it really gives us space in our relationships to admit when we do wrong, listen without defensiveness, and truly heal.
