Show Notes

As parents, many of us feel guilty that we aren’t engaging in play enough with our kids. Or, we feel guilty that our kids aren’t playing enough on their own to develop their imagination and instead spend lots of time in front of screens. Either way, there is lot of guilt to choose from. There is a reason mom guilt is such a popular term! We are here to suggest there is a better way:).

In this episode, we address a few individual listener questions and explore how we can, by focusing first on connection and meeting their attention needs, create a secure setting or them to explore their own world of independent play. We also discuss how we can successfully let go of that parent guilt so you can actually enjoy that time you get to yourself while your kids are developing their imagination on their own.
