The iconic Rubicon Trail is colosed. After what has been deemed an illegal closer done by El Dorado County Parks and Rec. The Board of Supervisors has retroactively approved the closer due to their granted power because of the county’s State of Emergency. Uncle Tom’s Cabin is a fantastic place to stop while you’re on your way to the Rubicon Trail. This iconic destination has had many famous visitors through the years, but this adventure was for a Jeepherders 4×4 Club’s Toy Drive. What is more important the diameter of your tire or the amount of articulation you have in your suspension? If you have larger tires you might not need as much suspension because those massive tires will catch before smaller ones will. However, if you have an obscene amount of suspension travel then you might be able to get away with smaller tires as your suspension can get your tires to connect anywhere. Jimmy and the Assistant go to San Francisco to watch Walk The Moon in concert at The Fillmore. Before the concert Jimmy ate some of the spiciest Ramon he has ever had, it was very tasty. From the Rubicon Trail to the Rubicon Trail to Fordyce Creek Trail for Sierra Trek these past two weeks have been an outstanding whirlwind adventure. From Jimmy’s camping weekend at Spider Lake with the SLO County Crawler. Then coming back a day later to meet up with Tyler and the guys from GlueTread.
