The CDC's Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACE Study) uncovered a stunning link between childhood trauma and the chronic diseases people develop. What steps we can take to erase the fear that exist in ourselves. How to apply The Emotional Resolution Process (EmRes) to your life if you're trying to heal from trauma or are struggling daily: Go to a safe space, close your eyes, and observe your emotions and tune into your five senses. Pay attention to what physical sensations you are feeling such as a tight throat, fast heart rate, shortened breath, or weak legs. Just focus on two of those physical sensations at once, process them, and do not focus on the thoughts in your head to help you let go of those negative emotions. Man has no Body distinct from his soul; for that called Body is a portion of Soul discerned by the five senses, the chief inlets of Soul in this age. - William Blake

Dr. Czys is the author of The Truth About Weight Loss: Blowing the Whistle on the Corrupt Industry that Massively Profits from the Overweight, Even from Kids. S4 Ep 206Ep. 206 - Dr. Bradley Dyer

If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health. - Hippocrates Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Premier Integrative Health, Dr. Bradley Dyer, knew that there was more to helping others than just the misguided healthcare system he was working in. As a hospitalist, he was expected to practice in a very protocol driven way, which can be life-saving in acute settings, however, the majority of his patients were admitted for complications associated with chronic disease. He realized that the protocols primarily addressed the symptoms, not the root cause, and did very little to change the trajectory of the disease process itself. Seeing patients like this over and over again, Dr. Dyer decided to change course and learn more about addressing chronic illness at Dr. Weil's Fellowship in Integrative Medicine. From there he went on to become certified in Functional Medicine and his life, and approach to his patients, has never been the same. Don't wish it was easier, wish you were better. Listen and find out what impact he wants to make including utilizing more health coaches in the healthcare system and improving the physician education system to focus more on nutrition and prevention. For what it's worth... it's never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you've never felt before.
