On 4 July 1954, Marilyn Reese Sheppard was found murdered in her Bay Village home. Her husband, Sam, said that a bushy-haired intruder had killed his wife, however, many found his story suspicious.

In the year 2000, a family of four was brutally murdered in their home in Tokyo, Japan. Dubbed the Goldilocks Murders because the killer, after murdering the family, remained in the home for several hours, leaving behind a mountain of evidence.
