The Legal Side Of Amazon Exits and The Slow Down in 2022 Today I chat with Paul Rafelson on how had 2 deals a day coming across his desk from August - December 2021(which doubled in the last two months) and the big drop into 2022. Whilst January was still active deals started to be pulled by February as the bubble started to simmer down. By March, we started to see the dry up and the sponsor activity and visibility disappeared from view. Then came some of the layoffs and some of the aggregators went on pause for new acquisitions of Amazon brands. We also discussed closing cash, claw backs and challenging buyer deals in non US/ UK territories in places like Singapore.
