Salt Strong fishing coach Wyatt Parcell is on a family vacation in a new state and had just a short amount of time to get his family on redfish. To make matters worse, he didn't have a boat or kayak. Wade fishing was his only option. So in this podcast, he shares exactly what he did to pre-trip plan, what types of spots worked best, which lures he used, and some other cool tricks to save time finding the fish. The fishing industry's massive convention called ICAST was the past week and we had quite a few team members make the week-long event. True story: a man traveling in a small airplane was told they were going to make an abrupt landing as the plane had lost numerous functions, making it impossible to continue the flight. He immediately started writing down everything he would do if God let him live. All in all, he wrote down 101 different things before the crash landing. Today, he has accomplished over 80 of those things. What would you do if God gave you a second chance in life? How would you structure your day and your life?

For years we used the wrong spinning reels. How? Because we incorrectly thought we needed big spinning reels to fight inshore fish like big redfish, snook, trout, tarpon, etc. I can't even imagine how many fish we missed because we came in too overpowered for the situation. Turns out that even a 1000 series spinning reel can get the job done in most cases. However, the smaller reels also have downsides. So in this episode, we address everything you need to know about picking the correct spinning reel size. Enjoy!

This has to be one of the best stories I've shared on the podcast. It's a great reminder that God is never done with you if you're still breathing. It's a great reminder of the power of FAITH.
