In this week's episode Lauren discusses multiple ways to repurpose your existing Social Media Content into fresh content pieces for your Socials. Lauren uses all of these methods to repurpose her own Social Media Content on her accounts - so this isn't theory, it's tried and true.
- Do a deep-dive into your Insights on Instagram (or whatever analytics you have access to on your Social Media channel of choice) and make a list of high performing content pieces from 30-90 days ago. (Highlight pieces that people have saved).
- You CAN repost exactly the same content with little or even no tweaks to the images, videos and caption. (Try tweaking something simple like adding a different song to the post, or adding more eye-catching closed captions).
- You can use segments/sections from longer captions and blog posts that you've already created in the past and you can create a Carousel relating just to the subject of that section of text.
- You can repurpose any static feed post (image or video) into a Reel. (Integrating these posts with fresh B-roll footage from your Camera Roll is a great way to blend existing posts with footage you have in your phone into new content ideas).
- Turn high performing Reels into Static Posts, Carousels and Stories.
- Show Up On Stories!
- Break up Carousels into Story Sets.
- Keep in mind, the bigger your Content Bank the more chance there is that you have lots of great content that could be tweaked, updated and reposted.
- Use AI (like chatGPT) to help expand upon your existing text posts, captions and blog posts, and also to create new text content from your existing pieces.
