Work Through Your Own Numbers:
- Step 1 — How many new clients did you bring in last month? (e.g. 82 new clients in January 2026).
- Step 2 — What is the average spend of a new client? (e.g. $105 in the same month).
- Step 3 — Multiply those two numbers together 82 x $105 = $8,610.
- Step 4 — Divide by 4 to get your weekly new client revenue $8,610 / 4 = $2,152.50 per week.
- Step 5 — How many hours per week did you spend creating content that month? (e.g. 5 hours per week).
- Step 6 — Divide your weekly new client revenue by your content hours $2,152.50 / 5 = $430.50 per hour.
That is your rough hourly rate for content creation. Now ask yourself — are you treating content like it's worth $430 an hour?
