Rou shifts into a werewolf and engages the guards while Trix shoots an explosive arrow to cause a dust cloud as a distraction. Trix then sneaks over to the cage and frees the captive. However, the captive refuses to leave without their goods and the pair race off into a nearby graveyard after stealing the small trunk on the cart.
Trix dashes into a crypt and the ex-captive hides behind a large gravestone just as the dust settles. Rou takes off into the graveyard as well and drops into an open grave as the guards begin their search. With their leader injured, the few guards that make their way into the cemetery eventually give up when their superstitious nature wins over. Once the guards leave, the pair make their way to Liam’s manor with a new companion in tow.
