Trix leads Rou and Eight over the rooftops toward their hideout. They provide vague answers to the pair’s snooping, and receive vague answers in return for their queries. As the group gets near a section of town where the guards rarely visit, they overhear a blood curdling scream. As they are wont to do, Rou and Eight rush to assist the source and manage to convince Trix to help despite their protests.
They quickly discover the source, a finely dressed individual running from a floating, spectral humanoid. A single scream from the creature leaves them paralyzed in fear, and Rou is taken out of the fight by spectral vines. When a pair of guards arrive on site, the trio decide it’s time to run and recover rather than risk further conflict.
