Her good deeds were overshadowed the day she opposed Moses; and her speech caused a spiritual leprosy to invade Israel, even indirectly leading to the death of 14,700. Episode Notes We all know the headlines. It seems like its a new one every other week now. The latest pastor who has fallen into adulteries, or even raping younger children. It is quite easy for the church to point the finger at the immoralities of the world, but are we not to judge inside the church? Not all of Christianity is guilty of this. But when was the last time you heard a sermon on how God considers the sin of adultery so serious, that He instituted the death penalty? Or how with rape He required the life of the offender? Instead, for many of these offending pastors, a temporary leave with a "sorry about that" is enough to satisfy the discourse, only to have him back next year. If me, being a believer can say this, what may the world (being at enmity with God) say? If we don't speak out and judge the immoral in our midst we call "brother", then the world will. And they will rightfully accuse us of hypocrisy and misrepresentation of what we say we believe. Worst of all, perhaps, many of them will attribute our hypocrisy to our Messiah. And our hands will be full of blood. The rise of Progressive Christianity and a great falling away isn't the fault of the liberals or the immoral in the world. No. It is the fault of the compromising church, who in her hypocrisy have allowed immorality to flourish within. And when it flourishes within, will the world not only take what they have learned one step further?

Episode Notes When we are about to be confronted with the one who witnesses everything, how will we respond? Today I'd like to take you on a journey to a strange story few people know in the Bible: The Test of the Adulterous Woman. A story not just about an adulterous woman, but each of us. What does an adulterous woman have to do with you? Everything, because God has called you to become a spotless Bride of Christ, and one day we will each need to take an oath of innocence. But Yeshua warns us that some who considered themselves believers will be in danger on this day.

Episode Notes The thief on the cross had nothing to offer God, yet Christ saved Him at his last moments because of His faith. The simplicity of the gospel is genuinely demonstrated. But the thief has also often been brought up as the role model for living a Christian life of "mere belief" without deep commitment towards the faith. Did Christ die for us to live as the thief, only to realize the mistake on our deathbed? In reality, it actually seems as though the thief was one of the worst examples to follow, while Christ's life of radical fruit remains the only role model worth looking to.

God has called a new era upon us, where His people have become walking temples of Spirit & Truth bringing in a great harvest. But it's going to require of His people to leave the edges of the field for the poor, so they may receive the True Manna from Heaven. THIS is our food: To do the will of our Father in heaven this Shavuot!

Episode Notes In the first-century, Jesus rebuked the Pharisees who tied heavy burdens and extra man-made traditions to the law of God - robbing people of the simplicity of God's truth. Today, the same flavor of deception is rampant. Man-made burdens about the Holy Spirit is quenching the Spirit in many people. But this Shavuot, will we begin placing an end to it?

Episode Notes Even as believers, we can find ourselves in a prison. Has God abandoned us? How could He allow this to happen to us? And what are we to do when we face trial? Paul & Silas found themselves in a prison, but would soon realize that all is not as it seems - that even their seemingly meaningless trial had incredible purpose in God's Kingdom: To save a suicidal guard and bring glory to God's faithfulness. Episode Notes Shortly after God brought Israel out of slavery in Egypt with miracles and power, the Israelites find themselves in a wilderness without food or water. While it certainly was nice to be out of slavery, the road to the Promised Land wasn't as sparkly as many of the Israelites had envisioned. Instead of having faith that the God who had JUST saved them would also provide for their basic needs, they began to complain to Moses, with some even desiring to return to the melons and fish that Egypt had to offer - even if that meant returning to slavery. While we often read this story and shake our heads at the Israelites, how often have we done the very same thing? Yeshua redeemed us from slavery to sin and death, spiritual Egypt, and yet how often do we look back to "Egypt" and crave the sins that once held us in bondage? It's impossible to go forward when we're looking backwards. God desires to bring you into the Promised Land, it's time to break every chain and walk in freedom. Egypts first plague was the turning of water into blood. A warning of the final Plague of Passover to come: the Death of the Firstborn. Yeshua’s first miracle was the turning of water into wine (blood). A beckoning to His future crucifixion on the Passover. But while Pharaoh's firstborn would die in vain. God’s firstborn would die for the sins of Israel who had His blood on their doorposts. And with this all: Yeshua has the face of both Mercy and Judgment. Mercy to those with His redemptive blood on their doorposts. Judgment to those who will face Him at the ever-approaching Second Coming. When we first became believers, most of us were excited to spend time with God and tell everyone we knew about the new life we now have in Jesus. Our chains are gone, we've been set free! Yet as the years have gone by, many of us have become more enamored with knowing "about" God without also continuing to get to KNOW God. While we are to "study ourselves approved" (2 Tim 2:15), some of us have exchanged intimacy with God for head-knowledge, and our relationship with the Father has suffered. Episode Notes Many Christians believe Acts 15 teaches that we only need to be concerned with keeping 4 of God's instructions that have now replaced the 10 commandments. But is this true? Or is there more to the Jerusalem Council than what is taught in mainstream Christianity?
