Though Jesus' ministry on earth has a timeless impression across cultures, He was still very much ministering to a specific people of a specific time and place. Our guest speaker today offers insight into the culture Christ lived in and ministered to, so we can appreciate yet more layers of beauty in Christ's grace towards you and me today.
Our speaker today, Dr. Philip Samaan, is a retired pastor and Southern Adventist University theology professor. He offers not only this perspective but also as one who grew up on the Mediterranean coast near Israel.
