Ep 6172 Chronicles 4 The temple then, the temple now and the future end times temple.

One of the keys to understanding the end times is understanding the temple throughout history. We are currently in a season of history of the church age where we don’t need a temple because believers in Jesus have become the place where God’s Spirit resides. But God has future promises to fulfill to Israel and in the future there will be a temple again. ★ Support this podcast ★

Ep 6051 Chronicles 28 Whose responsibility is it that we continue in faith?

In this chapter we see that the blessing on Solomon was contingent in some ways on Solomon’s continued faithfulness. It is true that ultimately Jesus came to fulfill the Davidic Covenant but Israel lost their country due to their failure to live for God.How does that compare to the church? How does that compare to our faith? Is faith one time only? Or does it need to continue? Whose responsibility is it for our faith to continue? God’s? Ours? Both? Is there any mystery to this? Ep 5841 Chronicles 10 God judges people and nations for their faithfulness. Use your freedom to worship Jesus.

Saul’s life, that of the first King, came to a tragic end due to his unfaithfulness. Originally God wanted people and the king to worship Him and Him alone. When they didn’t they were judged. Today, I am both thankful for and sad about America’s constitution. It has in it the glorious freedom to worship God but also the plurality of worshipping whatever or whomever you want. When God set up a government He did not set it up endorsing a plurality of worship. It is a complicated matter as in the past when the government established a religion that too was a problem which led to America. Yet the solution in our constitution has not created a Godly culture. It is important to use our freedom to worship Jesus. ★ Support this podcast ★

Ep 5801 Chronicles 7 God’s grace is generous and at times has even covered exceptions to His commands.

This is somewhat of dangerous ground. Never am I suggesting that we use God’s grace as a means to tool to disobey Him. Yet, in life man many times sins, makes mistake, and goes against God’s Word. Sadly it happens all the time. If you have sinned you have gone against God’s Word. I am thankful for the grace of God and it is interesting to note that God himself at times made decisions that gave grace or exceptions to His own prior commands. When we do this, humbly we should be thankful God gives grace to us who have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. ★ Support this podcast ★

Ep 572Galatians 6 Don’t give up. You will reap what you sow.

A Biblical principle is that one reaps what one sows. I have lived in Christ for 29 years and I have seen this principle live itself out. Earlier in my life I made many mistakes (sin) and paid for that sin through consequences. When I started aligning my life with Christ I received the blessing of his Fatherhood, His Spirit and the promise of eternal life but earthly blessing took more time. You have to not give up. It is important to sow godliness for a long period of time and when you do the reward or reaping will come from what you have sown. ★ Support this podcast ★
