What do we do in the space between asking and receiving? This week, Pastor Matt continues our series, "Before The Throne, by discussing questions we need to ask ourselves as we wrestle with the prayers that don’t get answered how or when we would expect. Are we willing to trust the Lord's response?

"The Father wants to be our provider" In this week's message, Pastor Jeremy continues to look at the Lord's Prayer as our guide in how to pray. Verse 10 says, "Give us this day our daily bread". We can trust that God will give us everything that we need both in the natural world around us and the supernatural! Trusting Him as our provider is not just about the provision itself, but it is about our relationship with God Himself. Let's develop a new spiritual hunger for our Father as we trust Him as our provider!

"Is it selfish to ask?" In this week's message, our Senior Pastor, Jeremy Havlin, addresses a few questions we may have about prayer. We see these questions answered by the way that Jesus prayed in the Lord's prayer and through his other teachings in the new testament. In today's message, Pastor Jeremy talks about how, "The more time we spend with God, the more our asking changes." The more we pray, the more we are reminded that the Father's will is so much better than our own, and we can have faith in that truth!

How do we pray? This week, our Greenville Teaching Pastor, Matt Humphrey, unpacks the example Jesus gave us of how to pray in the Lord’s prayer. In it we find more than just the right words to speak, we find that prayer is about the posture of our heart.

This week, our Senior Pastor, Jeremy Havlin, kicks off our new series, "Before the Throne". In week 1, Pastor Jeremy talks about how when Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matthew 6, he refers to God as "Our Father". We have a Father who is holy and set apart, yet we still get to have a deep and real relationship with. We can trust that He is good!

In week 1, Pastor Matt talks about the necessity of healthy communication in our relationships, especially our relationship with Jesus. In light of the importance and power of prayer, we must reconcile the things that stand in the way of us boldly coming to the throne of grace.
