"We give generously because we have received gratefully" This week, Pastor Jeremy wrapped up our "Rhythms" series by talking about the importance of making generosity a spiritual discipline in our lives.

When we live a life full of gratitude and knowledge that all we have belongs to God anyway, it results in a life full of generosity. Grateful hearts are generous!

"The only way to be present is to surrender a past you cannot change and to trust God with a future you cannot control"This week, Pastor Jeremy continues our series, "Rhythms", as we talk about being present through repentance. When we fail to repent, it can often cause us to feel isolated and alone instead of being present in each moment. God doesn't want to expose you; He wants to heal you!! Tune in this week as we talk about this spiritual discipline of repentance!

One of the most important spiritual disciplines we can have is spending time in God's Word. This week, Pastor Matt continues our series, "Rhythms", as we talk about the importance of the Word in our daily lives. Our foundation determines the quality of our life and we know that the best foundation is the Word of God!

This week, Pastor Jeremy continued our series, "Rhythms". We are often in such a big hurry in our lives that we fail to remember that God is our shepherd who wants to lead us. When we allow Him to be our shepherd, we begin to trust that He is enough!

This week, we had our friend, Pastor Steve Keyes, with us to kick off our series, "Rhythms". Pastor Steve walks us through the story of Elijah and how God calls him to rest, and through that rest, Elijah is able to hear God and revive his purpose.

This week, we had our SVL Teaching Pastor, Jason Thompson, with us to kick off our new series, "Rhythms". We often ignore the 4th commandment to observe a sabbath and rest. Jason talks about why this commandment is still relevant and important today!

This week, Pastor Jeremy wraps up our Disconnected series with a powerful message about trusting God in all circumstances. What we worry about most reveals where we trust God the least and we know that we can trust Him in all things!

This week, Pastor Matt wraps up our Disconnected series with a convicting yet practical message about setting boundaries with the technology in our life and filling our day with life-giving things.

"God doesn't want you to pursue happiness, He wants you to pursue Him!" In a world full of constant ways to be entertained and a priority on self we are called to purse Jesus more than anything else, including our own happiness. God cares about us being happy, just not as much as He cares about us being whole!

This week, Pastor Matt continued our series, "Disconnected", as we looked at the difference between our strongest desires and our deepest desires and the pitfalls we can fall into if we prioritize the wrong ones.

This week, Pastor Jason Thompson gives us a different perspective on our series about being disconnected from technology and distractions. We can't just retreat; we must be proactive to connect to Christ. In order to do that, we have to share the truth with other people, even when it isn't popular. This week, we learned about how we can share truth in love.

This week, our senior pastor, Jeremy Havlin, presents a message about who we are as a church. We want to live for what matters most, not just what matters now. Sowing means we may not see a return right away or ever, but we trust that God is faithful and able!

"We believe it is about His kingdom through His power for His glory" This week at Renovation GVL, we got to hear from our Senior Pastor, Jeremy Havlin, as he shared the heartbeat and vision of Renovation Church. We are passionate about God's Kingdom and being obedient to where He leads!

This week, Pastor Jeremy wraps up our series focusing on the Lord's prayer. When we look at verse 13, "For thine is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen", we see how the entirety of the Trinity is represented in Jesus' prayer. We also see this powerful truth: "Prayer is about His Kingdom, through His power, for His glory!". When do we pray? This week Pastor Matt teaches from John 15 on how prayer is less of a thing we do and more of a rhythm of abiding in our relationship with Jesus. Join us as we look at some practical times we really should pray.

Are our prayers too safe? This week, our Greenville Teaching Pastor, Matt Humphrey, highlights 3 "dangerous" prayers that will make us uncomfortable but lead us closer the Father. Join us as we look at what happens when we pray for God to "Search me", "hide me", and "make me".

We may be tested with many trials, but we know that Jesus understands us in our weaknesses. We can be confident that God will deliver us when we pray!

"Forgiveness protects our heart and opens our eyes and ears" This week, Pastor Jason continues our series, "Before the Throne", with an important message about forgiveness. In the Lord's prayer, Jesus commands us to show others forgiveness and grace because we have received forgiveness and grace from Jesus!

What do prayer and worship have to do with each other? This week, Pastor Joe Cuyar brings another perspective to our series, “Before the Throne,” by discussing how prayer and worship help us practice being in the presence of God.

What do we do in the space between asking and receiving? This week, Pastor Matt continues our series, "Before The Throne, by discussing questions we need to ask ourselves as we wrestle with the prayers that don’t get answered how or when we would expect. Are we willing to trust the Lord's response?

"The Father wants to be our provider" In this week's message, Pastor Jeremy continues to look at the Lord's Prayer as our guide in how to pray. Verse 10 says, "Give us this day our daily bread". We can trust that God will give us everything that we need both in the natural world around us and the supernatural! Trusting Him as our provider is not just about the provision itself, but it is about our relationship with God Himself. Let's develop a new spiritual hunger for our Father as we trust Him as our provider!

"Is it selfish to ask?" In this week's message, our Senior Pastor, Jeremy Havlin, addresses a few questions we may have about prayer. We see these questions answered by the way that Jesus prayed in the Lord's prayer and through his other teachings in the new testament. In today's message, Pastor Jeremy talks about how, "The more time we spend with God, the more our asking changes." The more we pray, the more we are reminded that the Father's will is so much better than our own, and we can have faith in that truth!

How do we pray? This week, our Greenville Teaching Pastor, Matt Humphrey, unpacks the example Jesus gave us of how to pray in the Lord’s prayer. In it we find more than just the right words to speak, we find that prayer is about the posture of our heart.
