The Prayer Series, Pt. 8: Prayer as Spiritual Warfare

“Every part of this armor is a gift that we passively receive; it’s a gift God has given us and we have to receive it.” For our last segment of The Prayer Series, Jessie walks through prayer as our line of defense against spiritual warfare. She asks us to reconsider spiritual warfare, and how we respond to it. She walks us through Jesus’ approach to fighting the Liar through the story of Jesus’ temptations, and Paul’s discussion of the Armor of God in Ephesians 6, focusing in on the core of the armor: that the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and spirit are gifts we receive in our fight against the darkness.
