We join it by praying, and in praying, we become transformed.” Bob starts the fourth segment of The Prayer Series with the question “why don’t we pray more?” He explores the way that fear of disappointment, the pervasive “what if,” dilutes our desires and wants, and leaves us praying easy, generic prayers. He reminds us that God wants us pound on the door like the widow in Luke 18, not to test us, but to make us care for that which we are praying, transforming us to be more like Jesus.
