“The stories we have shape who we are.” For the next iteration of The Gospel According to Jesus, Robert talks about the importance of the narrative we choose to live into, reminding us that the narratives we live with transform the way we live our lives. He expounds on root meaning of the word gospel and the context in which those “gospel” words made their way into our story. “The gospel is not the story of how to be saved,” he says. “Rather, it’s the key ways God is turning the broken world into the kingdom of God on Earth.”
