Journey with Jesus: Saint Aelred (ft. Bob Hyatt)

For our final episode of Journey with Jesus before Easter, Bob walks us through not only the Palm Sunday narrative, but the events directly preceding and following what is known as the Triumphant Entry. He weaves together the story of Zaccheus, one of Jesus’ parables, Jesus weeping over Jerusalem, and turning over the tables in the temple to demonstrate Jesus’ desire for us to be in friendship and relationship with everyone in love. Jesus did not want us to make barriers to entry, but to tear down the dividing walls of hostility in our homes, churches, and crowds.
