“Part of fighting consumerism is focusing on feeding others, not waiting to be fed.” Today’s episode is a recording of Bob from our Syndicate service in the park. He talks about the reality of consumeristic church culture in our current moment, and how we can make the shift from consumerism to mission. He offers strategies like removing our illusions of God and focusing on others: encountering a real God, and emptying ourselves of our own rights and privileges–shifting the flow from inward to outward.
