First step in branding is to ask what skills, experiences, or events have shaped your life. Because branding is all about how God has designed you special.
Starting with your target market and changing yourself to align with that market will often backfire as people will see through your facade.
You may also end up working with people who do not bring joy to your life. This is why branding must come before marketing.
When looking for your ideal client there are two groups of people that you will attract. Those like you and those opposite you. Likes will attract likes and opposites will attract. Either will be a good fit as your ideal client. The real branding question is who are you?
