The transitional government has given itself two more years to implement the roadmap to elections that have been pushed to December 2026. The unification of armed forces has not been completed, and the voter registration processes are still outstanding. The type of elections that the country has to conduct has not yet been determined. The government says it will focus on raising funds to implement the key outstanding tasks.
