A red-hot run after the break gave St. Louis real playoff hope, but back-to-back tough losses to the Sharks and Kings may have ended it. We break down the collapse, the rise of Snuggerud and the youth core, and what this team actually is right now as we watch the Blues vs. Ducks live! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 26Heating Up The Young Guns

The Blues just keep winning. Since the Olympic break, St. Louis has gone 7-2-1, and somehow the team looks faster, younger, and more dangerous after the trade deadline. We break down what’s fueling the Blues’ hot stretch, including Robert Thomas’ 9-game point streak (6G, 8A), Jimmy Snuggerud’s breakout performances, and Joel Hofer’s outstanding goaltending. We also dive into the youth movement taking shape in St. Louis with Dalibor Dvorsky, Mailloux, and Berggren stepping into bigger roles, plus Cam Fowler’s quiet six-game point streak from the blue line. We discuss the wins over Anaheim, Carolina, and Edmonton, the overtime battle with the Islanders, and what went wrong against Winnipeg — along with what still concerns us despite the team’s recent success. Are the Blues preparing for a playoff push? Or are they giving us false hope? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 25The End of an Era: The Blues' Deadline Shakeup

The St. Louis Blues made massive moves at the trade deadline, dealing captain Brayden Schenn to the Islanders and Justin Faulk to Detroit. We break down both trades, evaluate the returns, and discuss what these moves signal about the future direction of the franchise. We also dive into the rumored deals involving Robert Thomas and Colton Parayko that never materialized and how no-trade clauses may have impacted those situations. Despite all the roster shakeups, the Blues have quietly played some of their best hockey since returning from the Olympic break, including a three-game road winning streak. We discuss what’s driving the surge and what this team might look like moving forward. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. In this episode, we break down the gritty details of the wins over Latvia, Denmark, and Germany. Ep 22Hope, Heartbreak, Repeat

The last two weeks said everything the standings already hinted at. The Blues found ways to compete, flashes of energy from the kids, and brief moments where it looked like things were turning — but the same patterns kept resurfacing. Second-period collapses, late goals against, special teams swings, and a roster that never fully settled defined this stretch. We break down what actually mattered, what we learned about the future, and why this feels like a natural stopping point before shifting our focus to Team USA and Olympic hockey. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Ep 21The Definition of Insanity

The Blues didn’t play four perfect games — but they played four that force bigger questions. We break down whether this team is actually improving or just being held together by goaltending and effort, and ask if Joel Hofer has quietly taken control of the net. We dig into the recent coaching staff change, Jordan Kyrou’s struggles, and why special teams keep undoing otherwise competitive performances. No game-by-game recaps — just honest conversation about where the Blues are, what’s working, and what still feels broken. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 192-0 in '26, There is Hope

The Blues are 2–0 to start 2026, but the bigger question is how they’re getting there. Strong goaltending, heavy minutes from the top of the lineup, and timely goals have carried them early, while familiar issues — turnovers, second-period lapses, and thin margins — still linger beneath the surface. Using recent performances from Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich, we zoom out to evaluate what’s sustainable, what’s fragile, and what this start might actually tell us about the Blues moving forward. We break down what went wrong in Nashville, what went right against Chicago, and why this roster’s lack of margin for error keeps showing up when adversity hits. Plus, Robert Thomas continues to heat up, depth players are being asked to do more than ever, and the goal differential stat that explains everything finally comes into focus.
