Going back to the Philippines for the wedding of Janet, made Patricia look back at her adventures as a young student of 18, working as an intern in Manila. As students at the University of Limerick, they were allowed to travel and have work experience as an intern in other countries and while others either went to the USA, Australia, etc. Patricia chose differently. Between the option of traveling to Calcutta, India and Manila, Philippines, she chose Manila. That started Patricia's special bond with the Philippines and its people and to this day, she has Filipinos in her team who do amazing jobs for her.
