26 Feb 26 – My Guardian Angel Saved My Life

Today’s Topics: 1) Gospel – Matthew 7:7-12 – Jesus said to His disciples: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asked for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asked for a fish? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask Him. “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.” Bishop Sheen quote of the day 2, 3, 4) Terry interviews Camey Joy about her journey in the Faith

Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) Father Charles Murr joins Terry Gospel – Luke 11:29-32 – While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, “This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.” Bishop Sheen quote of the day

Today’s Topics: 1) Gospel – Matthew 6:7-15 – Jesus said to His disciples: “In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. “This is how you are to pray: Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. “If you forgive men their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 23 Feb 26 – A King’s Call: Saint Ignatius Guide Through Lent

What would you say if an honorable king invited you to share his food, wear his clothing, and fight alongside him—promising that if you share in his labor, you will also share in his victory? In this episode, we dive into the Second Week of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, exploring the profound meditation on The Call of the Eternal King. We reflect on Christ not as a distant ruler, but as a King who suffers with us, invites us into intimate service, and asks only that we lend Him our efforts—no matter how small. We confront the excuses that hold us back: “I’m too tired.” “I can’t do it right.” “My contribution won’t matter.” Through the lens of Ignatian indifference, we discover that God isn’t waiting for us to conquer the world—He’s waiting for us to offer whatever we can, right now. Then, we turn to the mystery at the heart of our faith: The Incarnation. When the Second Person of the Trinity became man, He didn’t cease to be God. We explore how the early Church understood this truth—from baptisms in the name of Jesus to the vision of Stephen the Martyr—revealing the Triune God present in every moment of salvation history. Whether you feel strong or weak, capable or inadequate, this episode is an invitation to offer yourself fully to the King who desires not your perfection, but your presence.

23 Feb 26 – Evangelizing Those Around You

Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) Gospel – Mark 5:21-43 – When Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him, and he stayed close to the sea. One of the synagogue officials, named Jairus, came forward. Seeing Him he fell at his feet and pleaded earnestly with Him, saying, “My daughter is at the point of death. Please, come lay your hands on her that she may get well and live.” He went off with him and a large crowd followed Him. There was a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years. She had suffered greatly at the hands of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet she was not helped but only grew worse. She had heard about Jesus and came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His cloak. She said, “If I but touch His clothes, I shall be cured.” Immediately her flow of blood dried up. She felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction. Jesus, aware at once that power had gone out from Him, turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who has touched My clothes?” But His disciples said to Him, “You see how the crowd is pressing upon You, and yet You ask, Who touched Me?” And He looked around to see who had done it. The woman, realizing what had happened to her, approached in fear and trembling. She fell down before Jesus and told Him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be cured of your affliction.” While He was still speaking, people from the synagogue official’s house arrived and said, “Your daughter has died; why trouble the teacher any longer?” Disregarding the message that was reported, Jesus said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid; just have faith.” He did not allow anyone to accompany Him inside except Peter, James, and John, the brother of James. When they arrived at the house of the synagogue official, He caught sight of a commotion, people weeping and wailing loudly. So He went in and said to them, “Why this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but asleep.” And they ridiculed Him. Then He put them all out. He took along the child’s father and mother and those who were with hHim and entered the room where the child was. He took the child by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise!” The girl, a child of twelve, arose immediately and walked around. At that they were utterly astounded. He gave strict orders that no one should know this and said that she should be given something to eat. Bishop Sheen quote of the day

Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) Father Charles Murr joins Terry Gospel – Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18 – Jesus said to His disciples: “Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father. When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father Who sees in secret will repay you. “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father Who sees in secret will repay you. “When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. They neglect their appearance, so that they may appear to others to be fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you may not appear to be fasting, except to your Father Who is hidden. And your Father Who sees what is hidden will repay you.” Ash Wednesday Bishop Sheen quote of the day

Do you have eyes and not see, ears and not hear? And do you not remember, when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many wicker baskets full of fragments you picked up?” They answered Him, “Twelve.” “When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many full baskets of fragments did you pick up?” They answered him, “Seven.” He said to them, “Do you still not understand?” Memorial of the Seven Founders of the Order of Servites, Religious Seven Founders, pray for us! https://rumble.com/embed/v73j64q/?pub=84ufd Today’s Topics: Joshua Charles joins Terry for Friday with the Fathers 1) Gospel – Luke 17:26-37 – Jesus said to His disciples: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man; they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage up to the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Similarly, as it was in the days of Lot: they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building; on the day when Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from the sky to destroy them all. So it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, someone who is on the housetop and whose belongings are in the house must not go down to get them, and likewise one in the field must not return to what was left behind. Remember the wife of Lot. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it. I tell you, on that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. And there will be two women grinding meal together; one will be taken, the other left.” They said to Him in reply, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will gather.” Bishop Sheen quote of the day 2, 3, 4) Terry and Joshua discuss Early Father of the Church: Bishop and Doctor of the Church, Saint Isidore of Seville

12 Feb 26 – The Power of the Holy Rosary

https://rumble.com/embed/v73hr3w/?pub=84ufd Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) Gospel – Mark 7:1-13 – Now when the Pharisees with some scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Him, they observed that some of His disciples ate their meals with unclean, that is, unwashed, hands. (For the Pharisees and, in fact, all Jews, do not eat without carefully washing their hands, keeping the tradition of the elders. And on coming from the marketplace they do not eat without purifying themselves. And there are many other things that they have traditionally observed, the purification of cups and jugs and kettles [and beds].) So the Pharisees and scribes questioned Him, “Why do Your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders but instead eat a meal with unclean hands?” He responded, “Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me; In vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.’ You disregard God’s commandment but cling to human tradition.” He went on to say, “How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and ‘Whoever curses father or mother shall die.’ Yet you say, ‘If a person says to father or mother, “Any support you might have had from me is qorban”’ (meaning, dedicated to God), you allow him to do nothing more for his father or mother. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile.” When He got home away from the crowd His disciples questioned Him about the parable. He said to them, “Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile, since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?” (Thus He declared all foods clean.) “But what comes out of the man, that is what defiles him. From within the man, from his heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. This discussion equips Catholics to better understand Purgatory, defend it biblically, and appreciate it not as a punishment, but as a merciful process of purification rooted in God’s justice and love.

02 Feb 26 – Sanctifying the Temporal Order

https://rumble.com/embed/v735w7e/?pub=84ufd On this episode of Truth & Justice Show, we sit down with Brenden Corbett, a candidate for Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, to discuss one of the most urgent challenges facing the criminal justice system today: the cycle of repeat crime and drug offenses. Corbett explains how many individuals exit the jail system only to return shortly after, trapped in a revolving door driven by addiction, lack of support, and failed reintegration. Rather than focusing solely on incarceration, he outlines a vision that prioritizes accountability paired with real solutions—helping individuals coming out of custody successfully assimilate back into society. The conversation explores public safety, rehabilitation, and the role law enforcement can play in breaking long-standing cycles that harm individuals, families, and communities across Los Angeles County. 28 Jan 26 – Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Key to Renewing the Church

https://rumble.com/embed/v732x08/?pub=84ufd In this episode, Fr. Charles Murr reflects on the enduring wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas and the profound consequences of the Church drifting away from his clear, reasoned theology. Drawing on history, philosophy, and pastoral experience, Fr. Murr explains how Aquinas provided a framework that harmonized faith and reason, safeguarded doctrine, and brought clarity to Catholic teaching. The conversation examines how, over time, this Thomistic foundation was set aside as modernism gained influence within the Church—leading to confusion, doctrinal ambiguity, and a loss of intellectual coherence. Fr. Murr discusses why Aquinas remains essential today, not as a relic of the past, but as a guide for recovering clarity, confidence, and fidelity in Catholic thought. This episode invites listeners to reconsider the importance of Thomism and why returning to the wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas is critical for addressing the challenges facing the Church today.

William responds clearly and charitably, helping listeners understand how Eucharistic miracles fit within Catholic theology without replacing faith, but strengthening it. 21 Jan 26 – The Evil of Moral Relativism, Part 2

Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) Gospel – Jn 3:16-21 – God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the Name of the only-begotten Son of God. And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God. Bishop Strickland and Terry discuss the medicinal qualities of excommunication and how it is intended to get those whom have strayed from the truth back on track, how moral relativism is the cause of many souls going to hell, God’s plan for humanity: Marriage and family, and the Sacrament of Confirmation

They watched Jesus closely to see if He would cure him on the sabbath so that they might accuse Him. He said to the man with the withered hand, “Come up here before us.” Then He said to the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?” But they remained silent. Looking around at them with anger and grieved at their hardness of heart, Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out and his hand was restored. The Pharisees went out and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against Him to put Him to death. Memorial of Saint Agnes, Virgin and Martyr Saint Agnes, pray for us! How he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest and ate the bread of offering that only the priests could lawfully eat, and shared it with his companions?” Then He said to them, “The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath. That is why the Son of Man is Lord even of the sabbath.” Memorial of Saint Fabian, Pope and Martyr Memorial of Saint Sebastian, Martyr Saints Fabian and Sebastian, pray for us!
