A certain king named Aridaman had five wives. He had less respect towards the fifth wife, as she was born into a poor family. One day, the queens requested the King that a thief who had been sentenced to death be allowed to experience one day of happiness before his death. In this way, the four queens gave him more than a thousand gold coins, fine clothes, and a luxurious meal. However, the fifth queen, offering him simple food, said, "Robbery is an unacceptable act. Abandon it." The thief, bowing to her with respect, gave up his life of crime.
