Once, a young man sought his mother's permission to save the people of a large boat that was struck by a storm at sea. Six years earlier, his father had gone on a sea voyage and had not returned. The mother, worried, thought about how she could send her son. However, the young man somehow consoled his mother, obtained her permission, and skillfully navigated the boat, reaching the large boat and bringing all the people to shore. Among those brought to shore was his father. The son, who came back with his father, told his mother, "Because you gave permission for a noble deed, father has returned." That boy, named Abraham Lincoln, later became world-renowned.
